    Mrs. Michael Miller, 62, 433 W. Ninth street, Kaukauna, died at her home at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon after a short illness.
    Born in Germany in 1875, she came to Kaukauna when a child. She was a member of St. Mary church.
    Survivors are the husband; three daughters, Matilda, Agnes, and Leona, at home; one son, Mike, Shiocton; three brothers, Henry Kern, Appleton; Charles, Wisconsin Rapids; and Frank, Kaukauna; one grandchild.
    The funeral will be held at 8:30 Friday morning at the home with services at 9 o'clock at St. Mary church. The Rev. A. Roder will be in charge. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Prayers will be conducted at the home at 8 o'clock tonight, Wednesday, and Thursday night.

    Motorcycle Officer Takes Own Life ANDREW MILLER SHOOTS SELF THROUGH HEAD Body Is Found Late This Morning in Garage at Kaukauna Andrew Miller, 28, Kaukauna, county motorcycle officer, shot and killed himself early this morning In the garage in the rear of his home. "With a bullet hole in his left temple, the body was found In his automobile by his mother at noon today. Following an investigation, Dr. H. E. Ellsworth, coroner, announced that no inquest would be called. It was a clear case of suicide, officials decided. The motorcycle officer was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Miller, Ninth-st, Kaukauna, with whom he lived. He entered the employ of the county in 1925, but left in 1926 to accept -work at the Combined Locks Paper Co. mill. He also served as motorcycle officer at Kaukauna for a period. In 1927 he resumed his work with the county. Miller was last seen about 10:30 last night by his father as the latter left home to go to work at Combined Locks. The son drove away in his car as the father left the house. When the elder Miller returned home about 11 o'clock this morning, he noticed his son's" car in the garage, so he entered the house and went to bed, believing that the son was doing some work in the garage. At noon, when Mrs. Miller went to the garage to call her son to dinner, she found the body in the front seat of the automobile. She imme- diately returned to the house to arouse, her husband, who notified authorities. The officer and his wife were di- vorced at few months ago. Besides the parents, he is survived by one brother, Michael, Jr.; and five sisters, the Misses Agnes, Mathilda Leona, Clara and Rosina all of Kau- kauna. The body was removed to the Greenwood Funeral chapel, Kau- kauna, where it will be kept until Monday. It will be returned to the home Monday.

    CONDUCT LAST RITES FOR ANDREW MILLER Kaukauna— Funeral services for Andrew Miller, 28, who died last Saturday, were held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at Greenwood funeral chapel. The Rev. C. Ripp was in charge and burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. He was born In Kaukauna and lived here all his life. He was a county motorcycle officer for four years. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Miller; one brother, Michael Jr.; and five sisters, Agnes, Matilda, Leona, Clara and Rosina, all of Kaukauna. Pall bearers were Officer Harold Engerson, Deputy Sheriffs Fred Frank, Harold Alger, Ervin Klebenow, Peter VanOudenhoven and Jack Frenza. Sheriff John Lappen was in charge of the service at the cemetery.

She had been a Neenah resident for the past forty years and had been employed by the Kimberly-Clark Corporation for over forty years. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Neenah. Survivors include four nieces. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Kessler Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence A.
