    Dupont, Irene M.Irene M. Dupont, age 92, of Kimberly, died Tuesday evening, January 3, 200 6. She was born May 8, 1913, the daughter of the late Cornelius and Harri et (Jansen) Hartjes, in Combined Locks, where she grew up. Following her m arriage to William F. Dupont, she moved to Kimberly. In the last yea rs of her life, Irene resided at Hallmark Apartments and St. Paul Villa. S he was lovingly known as "Nanny" to her grandchildren and great-grandchild ren. Irene volunteered for 11 years at St. Elizabeth Hospital Gift Shop. S he was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards and was known as an excelle nt baker. Irene will be remembered for her devotion to her family and h er many acts of kindness to others. She was a faithful member of Holy Spir it Parish, Kimberly, a member of Catholic Order of Foresters and the Kimbe rly Golden Agers.She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Ann Dupont, Tomaha wk, WI; a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and William Cory, Mequon, WI; n ine grandchildren: Gregg (Laurie) Gossens, Steve Gossens, Beth (Dan) Spris ter, Ellen (David) Mucha, Julie (Mark) Polzin, David (Margaret) Cory, Patr ick (Anne) Cory, Doug (Kelly) Dupont, Todd (Jeni) Dupont; 17 great-grandch ildren: Tristan, Jonathon, Amy, Carrie, Kayla, Shawna, Mandy, Billy, Banni ng, Bryn, Evan, Elliot, Sydney, Celia, Cody, Cameron, Thomas; a great-grea t-grandchild, Cassidy; a brother, Julius Hartjes, Kaukauna; three sister s: Margaret Grissman, Kaukauna; Helen Mertens, Fremont; Lucina (Larry) Jan drey, Kaukauna; two sisters-in-law: Marilyn Hartjes and Marie Hartjes.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, William F. D upont, and infant daughter, Mary; dear daughter, Charlotte and son-in-la w, Frank Gossens; brothers, Willard, George, Harvey, Jim and Ed Hartjes; a nd two sisters: Betty Boots and Rosanne Cwiak.The funeral liturgy for Irene will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Janua ry 7, 2006, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, wi th Father Tom Pomeroy officiating. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery. F riends may call at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday, until the time of t he mass.     Charlotte A. Gossens, N234 Rogers Lane, AppletonAge 65, died unexpectedly Monday, January 1, 2001, at her home. She was bo rn September 10, 1935, in Appleton, daughter of William and Irene (Hartje s) Dupont. On August 3, 1955, Charlotte married Frank Gossens; the coup le enjoyed almost 44 years of marriage together. Frank preceded her in dea th on June 14, 1999. Charlotte was involved many years with the Holy Ange ls School Library. She also enjoyed helping out in numerous other civic or ganizations. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy. Surv ivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Beth (Dan) Sprister, New Fran ken; Ellen (David) Mucha, Northfield, Minnesota; two sons and daughters-in -law, Gregg (Laurie) Gossens, Montpelier, Vermont; Steve (Kathy) Gossen s, Black Creek; 10 grandchildren, Amanda and Billy Sprister, Banning and B ryn Mucha, Tristan and Jonathon Gossens, Amy, Carrie, Kayla and Shawna Gos sens; her mother, Irene Dupont, Kimberly; a sister and brother-in-law, Mar lene (William) Cory, Mequon; a brother and sister-in-law, David (Anne) Dup ont, Neenah; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by h er husband, Frank, on June 14, 1999, and her father, William Dupont, al so in 1999. Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Thursday at Holy Angels Cathol ic Church, Darboy, with Father Tom Pomeroy officiating. Burial wi ll be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church fr om 2 p.m. Thursday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memor ial fund has been established in her name. The Boettcher Family Funeral Ho me, Kaukauna, is assisting the family with arrangements.
