Boelter Jr., Ernest H. "Ernie"
Ernest H. "Ernie" Boelter Jr., Menasha, 86, died Wednesday Feb. 13, 2008, at home. He was born in Neenah on Nov. 16, 1921, to the late Ernest and Florence (Zimmer) Boelter. Ernest retired from the Army, having served in both World War II and the Korean War. Later, he worked at Anderson Trucking.
Ernest is survived by his children, Patricia Lynn Payne, Menasha; Bruce (Susan) Boelter, Colorado; and Frances Mitchell, Colorado; four grandchildren, Matthew Payne, Joe (Monica) Sallee, Amanda and Wes Boelter; and three great-grandchildren, Cole, Shyanne and Taye.
In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Ann; and his grandson, Brian.
Ernest's family would like to extend a special thank you to Bruce and Brenda Heisel of the Hungry Bowl Restaurant, his friends from the restaurant and the many friends he made throughout his journey in life. Your friendship meant so much to him.
A gathering to celebrate Ernest's life will be held at a later date.
