    Mary Ellen Doro, age 83, of the Town of Rushford, died peacefully on Sunday morning August 5, 2007, at her home with all her family near her. She was born August 15, 1923, in the Town of Nepeuskun, the daughter of John H. and Elizabeth (Egan) Schuster. She married Robert Doro on June 29, 1949, at Saint Mary's Catholic Church of Omro. She was a teacher for seven years before her marriage. She and Dick lived their entire life on the family farm. She devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all of her other family. She was a faithful member of the All Saints Catholic Parish of Berlin. Mary Ellen loved to cook and sew.
    She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Richard; her children: Mary Beth (James) Herres, Neenah; Jean (Al) Youngbauer, Berlin; Pat (Dan) Rose, Franklin Park, IL; Jack (Debbie) Doro, Appleton; Monica (Robert) Brotske, Berlin; Joanne (Paul) Jessen, Mukwonago; Barbara (Frank) Santos, Wind Lake, WI; Matt (Alice) Doro, Downers Grove, IL; her brothers: Joseph Schuster and Jack Schuster, Berlin; her sister, Margaret (Loren) Cismoski, Seymour, WI; also her 35 beloved grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
    Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jerry; a sister, Betty Jean and her son, Greg.
    Funeral services with the Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 9, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. from the new All Saints Catholic Church of Berlin (Hwy. 49 south on Green Lake Hill) with the Rev. Jerome Maksvytis officiating and burial will follow in the Saint Stanislaus Cemetery of Berlin. Also after the services at the cemetery all are invited to a fellowship and luncheon with the family to be held at the Columbus Club of Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin on Wednesday (TODAY), August 8, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a Parish Rosary to be recited at 7:45 p.m. and may also call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. before we leave for the services at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory.
