Obituary:
Dan P. Hardtke, 40, Green Bay, died on Tuesday, May 15, 2007. He was born in Green Bay, on April 3, 1967, to Jerry and Jeannie (Haskins) Hardtke. Dan graduated from West High School in 1985. He was employed with American Foods Group for the past 15 years. Dan married Suzanne Hummel on Sept. 11, 1998. He enjoyed motor sports and Soap Box Derby racing. Dan cherished his family and loved spending time with them. He will be sadly missed.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne; two daughters, Kari and Anna Jean, both at home; parents, Jerry Hardtke, Green Bay; and Jeannie (Don) Hargis, Little Suamico; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Barb (Jim) Kendall, Hayward; brother, Brian Hardtke, Green Bay; maternal grandmother, Anna Haskins and paternal grandmother, Viola Hardtke. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, loving relatives and dear friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Hardtke; paternal grandfather, Edwin Hardtke and maternal grandfather, Stan Haskins.
Gathering time with family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Visitation will continue on Sunday, May 20, 2007, at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Paul K. Pett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for Dan's family has been established.
