Obituary:
Lance Beyer, 31, of Fond du Lac passed away Sunday March 3, 2013 as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident in the Town of Marshfield. He was born February 11, 1982, the son of Larry and Sven (Nelson) Beyer. Lance was a graduate and valedictorian of Seymour High School and graduated Summa Cum Laude from both UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science degree and from UW-Madison with his Masters degree. On August 23, 2008, Lance married Erica Magno at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, De Pere.
Lance taught special education and coached basketball and golf at Campbellsport High School and since 2011 has been the Associate Principal and Athletic Director at Campbellsport High School. Lance's closet is filled with Cougar apparel. He enjoyed golfing, fishing up north and was a great Badger's fan. Lance loved his family dearly and everything he did was for his family.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Erica, his children Emma and Jackson, his parents Larry and Sven, his sisters Stephanie (Ross) Jens and their children Bryce, Alex and Kennedy, and Heather (John) Dedering and their children Matthew, Michael and Cole, his mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, Jodi and Joe Bergner and Dan and Gay Magno, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Anthony and Rebecca Magno, Cory Magno and Seth Bergner, Jeremy Burgbacher and his children, Petra and Jalen, Jayme and Ryan Albrecht and their children, Lydia and Addison, Joy Burgbacher, Jill Burgbacher and her son Noah Swanson, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6th from 3:30 to 7:30 PM at Campbellsport High School, 114 W. Sheboygan Street, Campbellsport, and on Thursday, March 7th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 7th at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. A private family burial will take place Friday at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Seymour.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Emma's and Jackson's college education funds.
