Berg, Theodore C. "Ted"
Theodore C. Berg, age 91, of Appleton, passed away Friday, March 28, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Ted was born February 2, 1917, in Appleton the son of the late Theodore and Lily (Gritzmacher) Berg. He was an Appleton resident all of his life. Ted was employed by American Can Co. in Neenah for many years, retiring in 1979. Ted will be remembered as avid golfer. He liked nothing better than playing a round of golf with his buddies. Ted was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Appleton Elks Lodge #337, and Knights of Columbus Council #607 of Appleton.
Survivors include his brother, Joseph Berg, Appleton, and several cousins including Mary Kay Kucirek and Mary Jo Seidl.
The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, March 31st at St. Therese Catholic Church, corner of Wisconsin Ave. and Morrison St., Appleton, with Fr. Bill Hoffman officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for St. Therese Catholic Church.
