    Obituary:
    Thomas J. Gloudemans, age 69, of Stevens Point, died May 24, 2017 at the House of Dove in Marshfield, WI.
    Tom was born April 15, 1948 to the late William & Florence (Vandehey) Gloudemans in Little Chute, WI. He grew up there, and graduated from St. John's School in 1966. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Stevens Point in 1970, and his Master's degree in Administrative Leadership from UW-Milwaukee in 1975.
    Tom was a community minded public servant who made a remarkable impact to our Central WI community. He taught Social Studies at PJ Jacobs Junior High School for 40 years. During his time at PJ Jacobs, he was the Social Studies Department Chair, coached junior high basketball, and coordinated the Washington D.C. trip for over 30 years. Tom was also the President of the Village of Park Ridge for 17 years; volunteered as a firefighter for 18 years; served 2 terms as President of St Stephens Church pastoral council, and led the Portage County Democratic Party during the Election of Jimmy Carter.
    In his free time he enjoyed traveling the Canadian Rocky Mountains; keeping up on News and Politics; and camping in Northern WI.
    Tom is survived by son, Daniel (Courtney) Gloudemans of Stavanger, Norway; daughter, Meg (David) Keehan of Stevens Point; and grandchildren, Katherine, Aidan, Connor, and Finley. He is further survived by siblings, Rose (Norm) Coenen; Jerry (Mary) Gloudemans, Pat (Jerry) Van Hoof, and Bill (Carole) Gloudemans.
    He was preceded in death by parents, Bill & Florence.
    A Funeral Mass will be held, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017 at St Stephen Catholic Church with Rev. Jerzy Rebacz presiding. A time of visitation will precede from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at the church. Burial will be held at St. John's Cemetery in Little Chute, WI at a later date.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ministry Home Care Hospice or to the House of Dove, Marshfield. Online condolences may be made at www.bostonfuneralhome.net.
    The family would especially like to thank the staff at Ministry Hospice and the House of Dove in Marshfield for the wonderful care that they gave to Tom. Their kindness and compassion truly made a difference in his final days.
