Leah Levitas Passed away at age 92 on March 3rd in Palo Alto. A native of Green Bay, WI. She was a member of the San Francisco Jewish Federation, Hadassah and Israel Bonds. She was very philanthropic with these organizations. Devoted wife of the late Robert "Bud" Levitas; mother of Judyth Levitas Melvin, Susan Levitas Ross (Ira); grandmother of Kathleen Esquivel (Jose), Robert Melvin (Kelley), David Ross (Lisa), Rebecca Moltyaner (Lev); great-grandmother of Rachel, Sarah and J.P. Esquivel, Alexi Melvin, Libby Ross, Haley and Emma Moltyaner; great-great grandson, Ryder Stoner. Sister of Mildred Glick, Pearl Freidland and the late Estie Epstein. Private graveside services will be held. Donations to the American Parkinson Foundation, P.O. Box 3127, Walnut Creek 94598, and the Israel Emergency Fund c/o San Francisco Jewish Federation, 121 Steuart St., San Francisco 94105.
