    Obituary:
Patricia Ann Beyer, age 77 of Appleton, was called to the arms of her Lord on Wednesday morning, February 10, 2016, at The Bridges of Appleton. She had struggled for several years with various health issues. Pat was born in Appleton on September 8, 1938, daughter of the late Elmer and Celia (Puls) Behnke. She was a graduate of Appleton High School, and on September 16, 1961 married Edward Beyer at Mount Olive Lutheran Church where they maintained membership for many years. For over forty years, Patricia was employed as a secretary at Hayes Manufacturing in Appleton.
For the past several years, Patricia had been a resident at The Bridges of Appleton. There she appreciated many comforts of home. She loved to play bingo, work on crafts, and volunteer in the gift shop. She loved shopping with friends and looked forward to regular Sunday afternoon drives, and she so enjoyed her Sunday prayer group meetings. Patricia will be remembered by the other residents and staff as a friendly woman whose door was always open if anyone just wanted to drop in and visit for a bit.
Patricia is survived by her daughter: Suzanne (Jeffrey) Schultz of Greenville and their sons Drew and Ross (who lovingly referred to her as Nanny); a sister: Mary Liesch of Stephensville; and two brothers-in-law: Harvey Beyer and Leonard (Bernice) Beyer. There are also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ed, a sister Jacqueline (Ernie) Retzlaff, and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
The Christian Funeral Service for Patricia will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, February 12, 2016 at IMMANUEL EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, corner of School and Julius Roads in Greenville, with Rev. John Qualmann officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the church on Friday afternoon from 4:00 PM until the 6:15 PM, followed shortly by the worship service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. For more information or to share a memory of Patricia, please visit www.wichmannfargo.com.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at The Bridges of Appleton for their outstanding care these past years. We will never forget your kindness.
So very many people have touched the life of Patricia - as she touched the lives of so very many. We praise the Lord for these abundant blessings. So, do not be saddened today. Rather, rejoice with us as her new journey begins!
