    Obituary:
Henry J. Vanden Heuvel, age 90, of Little Chute, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2016. He was born in Seymour on June 24, 1926, son of the late Henry and Alvina (Hackl) Vanden Heuvel. On May 28, 1949, he married his first love Kathleen Meulemans and together they raised six children before she preceded him in death in 1979. She kept the household running while he was able to fulfill his dream of starting his own business. He owned "Henry's Body Shop and Towing" in Kaukauna for many years. His passion was his collector cars and his wreckers. He shared his love of cars with the community by offering them for both the Homecoming and Little Chute Memorial Day parades for 29 years.
Henry was proud of the legacy he left and took pleasure in watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. He enjoyed hiding sweet treats for the kids to find when they would come to visit.
Henry is survived by his children: Jean (Joe) Pitz, Sally (Jim) Coffey, Charlie (Debbie) Vanden Heuvel, Nancy (Jim) Janssen, Ken Vanden Heuvel (special friend Kay Pavlik), and Mary (Dave) McDermott; 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; a special friend, Diane Niemuth; siblings: MaryAnn (John) Erickson, Elsie (Barnie) Mitchell, and Don (Rosemary) Vanden Heuvel; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Vanden Heuvel; and many other family members and friends.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen; his parents, Henry and Alvina; a sister, Rita (Elzer) Biese; a brother, Mike Vanden Heuvel; and a brother-in-law, Jack Ebben.
Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute, with Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen officiating.
