    Obituary:
    Bernice Catherine Stead, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at her home. Bernice was born on August 21, 1918 in Leona, Wi, daughter of the late Mathew and Goldie Quella. She graduated from high school in Leona in 1924. Bernice married her first husband, Mathew Stuck in 1940. After Mathew's death, Bernice found love again, marrying Eugene Stead in 1965.
    Bernice will be remembered as a giving, kind and eccentric woman, always having her own style. She was an avid antique collector, loved restoring old wood and enjoyed traveling. Above all, Bernice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
    Bernice is survived by her sons, James (Judi) Stuck of Steven's Point, David (Laurel) Stuck of Menasha, Richard (Linda) Stuck of Fond Du Lac and Andrew (Elizabeth) Stuck of Appleton; and her daughters Carol (John) Witt of Appleton, and Darlene (Craig) Berg, also of Appleton. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Heather, Andrew, Rebekah, Bethany, Jessica, Kristin, Nathan, Amy, Jeremy, Jody, Travis, Zachary, Kelly, Christopher and Jeremy; and her sisters Joan and Dorothy; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands; sister Evelyn; and brothers Leonard, Alexander, Edward, Johnna, and Andrew.
    A funeral service for Bernice will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the WICHMANN TRI COUNTY CHAPEL (3212 S Oneida St. Menasha) with Deacon Rick Simon officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be held at Highland Memorial Park following the service.     Bernice's family would like to thank Jenny and all the caretakers at Theda Care at Home Hospice for their kindness and support.
