    Hammen, Christine L.Hammen, Christine L., Little Chute, age 93, died Sunday, October 3, 200 4, at Parkside Care Center, Little Chute. Christine was born December 2 5, 1910, in Freedom, daughter of the late George and Cornelia (Van Hammon d) Sanderfoot. She married Joseph R. “Cully” Hammen June 10, 1930 at St. N icholas Church, Freedom. He preceded her in death September of 1974.Christine was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chut e. There she belonged to the Resurrection Choir and their Mission Club whe re she was a member for 30 years. She also volunteered at Parkside Care Ce nter as a visitor. On Tuesdays Christine enjoyed playing cards with her fr iends. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her gran dchildren.
    Christine is survived by three children: Floyd Hammen, Little Chute; Be de Ludwig, Little Chute; Janice (James “Wimpy”) Wydeven, Combined Locks; t en grandchildren: Amy (Dave) King, God Child Todd Wydeven, God Child Guy ( Carrie) Ludwig, Jeff (Lisa) Ludwig, Lori (Pat) Le Blanc, Lori (Duane “Bert ”) Vosters, Joe (Heather) Ludwig, Scott (Becky) Ludwig, Jody Wydeven and s pecial friend Barb and her daughter, Hannah; Kelly (Tom) Kalies; God chil d: Jennifer Aldy; fifteen great grandchildren: Alan and Aaron Wydeven; Nik i, Ryan and Mike King; Nikki, Linsey, Brian, Kendra and Derek Ludwig; Mich elle and Eric LeBlanc; Kirk, Kelsey and Kendall Vosters; a brother, Ray (R osanne) Sanderfoot; a sister-in-law, Lorietta Sanderfoot and two brothers- in-law, Clayton Fleming and Dale Mitchler. Also survived by many nieces, n ephews and friends.Christine was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters: John (Mari e) Sanderfoot; Hattie (Pete) Van Den Wildenberg; Albert (Edith) Sanderfoo t; Minnie (Ed) Friebel; Arnold (Marcella) Sanderfoot, Bill (Elizabeth) San derfoot; Rosella Stuyvenberg-Bodway; Ves (Naomi) Sanderfoot; Ann (Joh n) De Goey; Mary (Harvey) Hartjes; Josephine (Harry) Van Laarhoven; ten br others and sisters-in-law: Rich Hammen; Fred (Gladys) Hammen; Millie (Dous e) Frank; Lucille Flemming; Clara (Herb) Eggert; Alby (Mary) Jansen; Spoon er (Shirley) Jansen; Don (Harriet) Steger; and Helen (Harold) Kurrasch; Ca rol Mitchler.A Funeral Mass will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at S t. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, with Rev. Msgr. James Va nden Hogen officiating. Friends may call at the church from 3:30 p.m. unt il the time of the Mass. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Ch ute. Jennifer O’Connell with Fox Cities Funeral Service is assisting the f amily.The family wishes to thank Pioneer Village, Parkside Care Center and the ir staff, Dr. F.X.     Ludwig, Beatrice M. " Bede"Beatrice M. "Bede" Ludwig, of Little Chute, died Monday, April 17, 20 06 at Brewster Village. She was 73. She was born in Little Chute on Februa ry 11, 1933 to the late Joseph "Cully" and Christie (Sanderfoot) Hammen. B ede married Joseph Ludwig Jr. on June 26, 1954 at St. John Nepomucene Cath olic Church. He preceded her in death in March, 1990.In addition to being a lifelong member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Chu rch, she was also a member of the Jacob Coppus Post 258 Ladies Auxiliar y. Bede enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, bowling and time spent with famil y. She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren. She was very hap py to be able to aide her family in their business ventures.Beatrice is survived by her children, Guy (Cary) Ludwig of Neenah; and h er children: Chris and Jason Anderson; Jeff (Lisa) Ludwig of Freedom; a nd their children: Nicole, Linsey and Brian; Lori (Bert) Vosters of Applet on; and their children: Kirk, Kelsey and Kendall; Joe (Heather) Ludw ig of Freedom; and their children, Kendra and Derek; Scott Ludwig of Litt le Chute; and Kelly Kalies of Green Bay; brother, Floyd Hammen; sister a nd brother-in-law, Janice and James "Wimpy" Wydeven; and Godchildren, Lo ri Le Blanc and Todd Ludwig. She is further survived by her canine friend s: Morgan, Peanut, Mason, Maxwell and Buttons; nieces, nephews, other rela tives and friends.Funeral Mass will be 6 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2006 at St. John Nepomuce ne Catholic Church, Little Chute. The Rev. Patrick Beno will officiate. T he family will receive friends at church after 3 p.m. until the time of Ma ss. Committal Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has b een established.The Ludwig family would like to extend their gratitude to Dana Gerberdi ng (Bede's hospice nurse) and Dr. Nonn.
