Funeral services will be he ld at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks with F r. Robert Vandenberg officiating. Burial in Highland Memorial Park, Applet on. Friends may call from 3pm to 7pm Sunday at the Boettcher Family Funer al Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna and after 9:30am Monday direct ly at the church until the time of services.     Simon, Marian J.Marian J. Simon, of Kimberly, age 75, passed away Friday, August 27, 20 04 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton following a brief illness. Mari an was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on November 7, 1928, daughter of the la te James and Frances (Bartman) Hoolihan. She married Paul Simon at Sacr ed Heart Catholic Church in Appleton on April 24, 1948. As a young woma n, Marian worked at the H.C. Prange Company, as well as at Sears in Applet on. Later, she enjoyed tending bar at Steady Ed’s in Kaukauna. Marian lov ed angels, and over the years collected countless angels. She enjoyed trav el, spending winters in Florida, and following the Green Bay Packers. S he was a deeply religious woman who enjoyed her many visits and prayers wi th various priests and sisters. Marian will be remembered as a loving wif e, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family meant the wor ld to her — they will all miss her very much.They include her husband of fifty-six years: Paul Simon of Kimberly; tw in daughters: Donna (Dan) Feucht of Appleton and their children Melisa (Ch ris) Engelhardt, Laura (Andy) Kaminski, and Brian Maas; and Linda (Dan) Sp eering and their children Stephani (Scott) Clark and Amanda Speering; s ix great-grandchildren: Hayden Clark; Lynzie, McKenna, and Jayson Engelhar dt; and Andrew and Amara Kaminski; three sisters: Sally Foster of Appleto n, Luanne Nelson of Appleton, and Patricia (Bill) Boyle of Appleton; two b rothers-in-law: Butch Simon and Jim Tennessen.Marian was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Donna (Clifford) Liet hen, Kathryn (Carl) Williamson, Rita Tennessen, and Rose Marie Simon; a br other Bill Hoolihan, and a brother-in-law Ed Foster.The funeral liturgy for Marian will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday at HOLY NA ME CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly with Msgr. Jim Vand en Hogen officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Frien ds may call directly at the church on Monday from 2 p.m. until the ho ur of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memori al fund.The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at St. Elizab eth Hospital, especially to those working in the Intensive Care Unit. She will be greatly missed by her six children: Sharon (Steve) Schedel, Susan (Mike) Lecker, Sandy (Don) Steffens, Charles Foster, Sally Fusco and Patricia (Joe) Lecker; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; two sisters: Luanne Nelson and Patricia (Bill) Boyle and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Obituary:
    A beautiful singing voice joined the choirs of angels with the passing of Marilyn VanderPas, 71, of Little Chute, on Thursday, September 19, 2013, following a pedestrian/vehicle accident last Tuesday. Marilyn, daughter of the late Nick and Rose VanderPas, was born on August 15, 1942, and was a lifelong Little Chute resident.
    Marilyn worked at several positions during her lifetime, including faithfully serving as a caregiver for her parents. For many years, her passion was singing at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Her angelic voice could be heard during weddings and funerals as well as when she served as a song leader and member of the Good News Choir. She was also a member of the Cross and Crown Prayer Group and the Auxiliary Unit #258, Little Chute.
    Marilyn is survived by her brothers: Tom (Joyce), of Little Chute; and Dan (Mary) VanderPas, of Appleton. Other survivors include sisters-in-law: Betty VanderPas and Barb VanderPas as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: Patrick and Jim; her nephew, Tod VanderPas of Weyauwega, who died last June, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
    A funeral Mass and celebration of Marilyn's life is planned at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine St., Little Chute, with Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen officiating and fellow members of the Good News and Resurrection Choirs leading the singing. She will be buried next to her parents at the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
    At her request, Marilyn participated in the UW Organ and Tissue Donation program.
    The family offers special thanks to the compassionate treatment Marilyn received from police and medical personnel last Tuesday, especially the trauma team and clergy at Theda Clark Medical Center.
    Also, we owe a debt of gratitude to the St. John parish community and other Little Chute residents for taking Marilyn under their wings for so many years.

    Koehnke, David P. "Toast" David P. Koehnke, Menasha, age 44, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 31, 2008. He was born September 19, 1963, in Neenah, son of Howard and Luanne (Hoolihan) Koehnke. David served in the U.S. Army for eight years where he was stationed at Fort Campbell, KY, Germany and Ft. Lewis in Tacoma, WA. David worked as a mechanic for the Borchert family farm. He was paralyzed following a swimming accident. For the last ten years David overcame many obstacles and was still the center of his family. He enjoyed NASCAR, being at the family cottage and the outdoors, and going for walks with his children.
    Survivors include his four children: Bryan Koehnke, Jennifer Koehnke, Nicole Koehnke and their mother, Anne Birling; Christine Koehnke and her mother, Shelby Koehnke; three grandchildren: Kaylee, Porter and Mary Jane and another granddaughter due in October; his mother, Luanne Nelson; a brother, Bill (Connie) Koehnke; numerous nieces and nephews; and his cat, "T".
    David was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Christine Frank; his grandparents; and his father-in-law, Dennis Meyer Sr.
    Memorial services for David will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2008, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Rev. Stephen Dietzler officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services. Military rites will be performed by the American Legion Post #60 from Kimberly. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his name.

    Tod J. Vander Pas, of Weyauwega, formerly of Little Chute, age 54, passed away unexpectedly after a lengthy illness Sunday June 30, 2013 at his home. He was born in LaCrosse on November 20, 1958 to Thomas and Joyce (Gloudemans) Vander Pas. After graduating from Little Chute High School in 1977, Tod went to Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI, where he graduated from the College of Pharmacy. Tod found his true calling as a pharmacist and greatly relished his opportunity to serve people in his jobs at Jernegan's Health Mart in New London, the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, and many other pharmacies throughout the Fox Valley and Waupaca areas. In his free time, Tod loved to travel and spend time with his friends. He also enjoyed playing cards and board games, reading, bowling, golf, curling and watching movies.
    Tod is survived by his parents, Thomas and Joyce Vander Pas, Little Chute; siblings: Tim (Diana) of Lake Zurich, IL; Troy (Brenda) of Fond du Lac; and Tammy (Mike) Maley of Little Chute; and nieces and nephews: Kirk, Cole, Erin, Abby, Macy, Christa, Carly and Ty Vander Pas, Daniel, Rachel and Matthew Maley. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
    Tod was preceded in death by his grandparents: Nick and Rose (Hoolihan) Vander Pas and John and Margaret (Josephs) Gloudemans; his uncles Jim and Pat Vander Pas, Ron and Ken Gloudemans; his aunts Janice Gloudemans and Carole Seidl; also preceded by Jon Gloudemans; and his cousin Cindy Seidl.
    Visitation will be held Tuesday July 9, 2013 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 5:00 p.m. until time of the service at 7:00 p.m. Deacon Vincent De Groot will officiate. Committal will be in St. John Cemetery.     Aaron Frank, Appleton, passed away at his home on Saturday afternoon, March 5, 2011. He was born in Abington, Penn., on September 15, 1982, son of Thomas Frank of Appleton, and the late Christine (Koehnke) Frank. Aaron graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His degree was in journalism.
    Aaron was quick-witted and funny, and he was a gifted writer. He authored many writings, including a screenplay. Aaron was also a gifted musician who enjoyed reading and watching classic movies.
    He is survived by his parents, Tom (Diane) Frank, Appleton; five brothers and sisters, Nicholas (Maureen) McLain, Madison; Kelly (Andrew Naughton) McLain, Minneapolis, and their daughters, Estelle and June; Ryan (Sarah) McLain, Chicago; Rachel Frank, Madison; and Allie Frank, at home; his maternal grandmother, Luanne Koehnke Nelson, Appleton; his paternal grandparents, Paul and Irene Frank, Jr., King; and by Diane's father, Edgar Theyerl, and his good friend, Pat.
    Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Christine, in 1991.
    A celebration of Aaron's life will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at the funeral home chapel, 3212 S. Oneida Street in Menasha. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the hour of the service. Following the service, Aaron will join his mother, Christine, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for an area crisis referral center.
