    John Ashauer, 39, died Friday evening at his home in the town of Harrison after a brief illness. He is survived by four brothers, Frank of Millidore. Jake of Appleton, Henry and Michael of Darboy and one sister, Theresa of Darboy. He was a member of the Leo Van Rooy Post of the American Legion and of the Holy Name and St. Joseph societies of Holy Angels church at Darboy. The fu- neral will be held at 9:15 Monday morning from the Schommer Funeral home and at 10 o'clock from Holy Angels church at Darboy. Interment will be in Holy Angels cemetery. A military funeral will be conducted by the Leo Van Rooy post.

    JOHN ASHAfBK The funeral of John Ashauer was held Monday morning from the Schommer funeral home at 9:30 and from Holy Angels church at Darboy at 10 o'clock. The bearers were members of the Van Rooy post of the American Legion and the honorary pall bearers were members of the St. Joseph society of Holy Angels church. The Rev. Hueslein conducted the services. Interment was in Holy Angeles cemetery.

    Lynn A. Weigman, age 55, of Kimberly, passed away peacefully with her fami ly at her side, Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Nee nah. Lynn was born January 14, 1949 to the late Anton and Eunice (Ashaue r) Dietzen. She married Stephen C. (Wiggie) Weigman on February 24, 19 73 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Appleton. Lynn enjoyed sewing, pla ying games, going to the casino and spending time with her family and frie nds.
    She is survived by her husband, Steve and their two daughters: Amy, Colora do and Katie (John) Carew, Combined Locks. She will also be missed by h er brothers Dennis (Barb) Dietzen of Darboy and their children Tim (Jennif er) and Jen. Tom (Annette) Dietzen, Seymour, and their children Kelsey a nd Trace. She is further survived by Steve’s brothers and sisters. John (V icki) Weigman, Rhinelander, and their children Sean, Melanie and Erin.     Thomas A. Dietzen, age 53, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday evening, May 6, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 29, 1955, to the late Anton "Tony" and Eunice (Ashauer) Dietzen, in Appleton, was raised in Darboy and then became a resident of Seymour. Tom had been employed by Miller Electric for 35 years and for a period of time, Tom and his siblings owned and operated the Tri County Golf Range, Darboy. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, sturgeon spearing, the Packers, NASCAR and had just recently purchased his dream Harley and had enjoyed one short ride. Tom was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour.
    He is survived by two children: Kelsey and Trace Dietzen, both at home; a brother, Dennis (Barb) Dietzen, Darboy; a brother-in-law, Steve Weigman, Kimberly; a nephew, Tim (Jennifer) Dietzen, Freedom; three nieces: Jen (Eric) Drumm, Fox Point, WI; Amy (Jeff) Grilli, Colorado; his godchild, Katie (John) Carew, Combined Locks; and his special friend, Sherry Manteuffel and her family; his former wife Annette Dietzen; and his dog, Angel.
    He was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Weigman.
    A celebration of Tom's life will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 349 N. Main Street, Seymour, at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2009, with Reverend Roland Lindeman officiating.     Susan L. Opsteen, 64, of Kimberly, passed away at Brewster Village, Appleton on Thursday, March 22, 2012.
    Susan was born on February 27, 1948 to Sylvester and Ruth (Ashauer) Jonen. She married Robert Opsteen on July 13, 1968 at Holy Angels parish Darboy. Sue was a very creative person who wrote poetry and enjoyed drawing flowers, mostly to share with other people. She also liked walking and visiting friends and neighbors. Sue appreciated life's many lessons and, in turn, enjoyed teaching and mentoring the people she spent time with. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church where she was active in her church community. Sue most of all loved her family and the time they spent with her will always be treasured.
    Susan is survived by her husband Robert "Bob" Opsteen, three children; Ronald (Debra) Opsteen, Brainerd, Minnesota, Jean (Paul) Krueger, Neenah, John (Nicole) Opsteen, Smyrna, GA, four grandchildren; Ethan and Elliot Krueger, Rebecca Opsteen and Mazzy Opsteen, her brothers Ray (Florence) Jonen, Olympia, WA, John Jonen, Mt Pleasant IA, Steve Jonen, Hurley, Leon Jonen, Robert Jonen, Paul Jonen, all from Appleton area, a sister, Ann Jonen, Green Bay, special friends, Nancy and Judy, and many other relatives and friends.     Mark F. Jonen, Kaukauna, age 47, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 13, 2007, at home. He was born March 24, 1960, to the late Sylvester and Ruth (Ashauer) Jonen in Appleton, WI. Mark married the former Diane Schabow on May 18, 1985. He earned an Associates Degree in Pulp and Paper Chemistry and completed his Iron Working apprenticeship in which he served for thirteen years. Mark was an active member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church and always willing to lend a hand. He enjoyed the outdoors; High Cliff State Park, Door Co., a good walk, and a long bike ride. Mark also enjoyed drawing and had a wonderful creative side of himself that he would share with friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
    He is survived by his wife, Diane Jonen, Kaukauna; his daughter, Samantha Jonen, UW-Stevens Point; his son Brandon Jonen at home; six brothers: John Jonen, Mt.     Mark's funeral service will be 5 p.m. on SUNDAY, December 16, 2007, at TRINITY Ev. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 804 Grignon Street, Kaukauna, with Rev. Mark Luetzow officiating. Friends will be received on SUNDAY at CHURCH from 3 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his name.     Ashauer, Joseph P.Joseph P. Ashauer, Hortonville, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on Sund ay November 27, 2005. He was born on March 16, 1968, in Appleton. Joe grad uated from Hortonville High School in 1986. On October 9, 1993, he marri ed Jennifer Dreher in Greenville. He worked at MCC the past 6 years and w as a volunteer fireman for Greenville and Ellington. He enjoyed snowmobili ng, fishing and dirt biking.     Dwayne "Dewey" Ashauer, 13, Greenville, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 26, 2007, due to a farm accident. Dewey was born on June 1, 1994, to Joseph and Jenny (Dreher) Ashauer. He was a student at Greenville Middle School and loved dirt biking, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and working on the farm. He will be well remembered as being everybody's helper.
    Dwayne is survived by his loving mother and sisters, Abby and Grace; his grandparents, Dennis and Susan Ashauer; great-grandmother, Cecelia "Hubby" Ashauer; maternal grandparents, Julius and Gwendolyn Dreher; four uncles, Anthony (Kelly) and his children, April, Zachary, Seth and Breanna; Jacob (Kristin); Arthur "Barney" (Becky) and their children, Edyn and Lincoln; and Jeff Dreher; three aunts, Mary Ann (Tony) Berrens and their daughter, Lily; Julie Marchetti and her son, Kris; and Jody (Gary) Mac Donald. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
    Dwayne is preceded in death by his father.
    Funeral Services will be at NOON on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville with Fr. Mark Vandersteeg officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a vigil starting at 7:30 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home in Appleton and at at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
    In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund is being established.
