    Kerscher, Robe rt A.Robert A. Kerscher, 79, Kaukauna died Saturday morning, March 4, 200 6, at Cherry Meadows with his family at his side. Robert was born July 1 7, 1926, in Appleton, the son of the late John E. and Mary (West) Kersche r. On Jan. 25, 1950, he married Elaine Belling in Kaukauna. Robert retir ed in 1988 from Thilmany. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Churc h. In his earlier years, he was an active member of the Kaukauna Athlet ic Club and played ball for Woltd's Ranch Bar, Kaukauna. Robert and his fa ther formed the Fox River Beagle Club. He was an avid Packers and Nascar f an and enjoyed his favorite #8. Robert enjoyed spending time up north a nd hunting and fishing with family and friends.Robert will be deeply missed by his family and is survived by his daughte r, Debra (Alan) Stievo, Oshkosh; son, John (Tina) Kerscher, Kaukauna; fo ur grandchildren, Matthew and Michelle Stievo and J.J. and Heather Kersche r; sister, Ellen Clawson, Kaukauna; and sister-in-law, Helen Kerscher, L os Lunas, N.M. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relativ es and friends.Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; three brothers, James, J ohn Jr. and Tom Kerscher.Private family services will be held. Interment will take place at St. Ma ry Cemetery, Kaukauna.The family would like to express special thanks to his caregiver Sandy f or her excellent care and compassion and thanks to the entire staff at Che rry Meadows.FARGO FUNERAL HOME 400 W.
