Obituary:
Kathryn K. Rather, 105, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014. She was born in Appleton, to the late John and Rose Drexler Killoren.
Kathryn is survived by her two sons, Tom (Kathy) Rather, Lexington, KY, James (Susanne) Rather, LaPlata, MD, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Rather Sr., three children, William Lee Rather Jr., Infant John Rather and Infant Mary Rather, and three brothers.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 324 Nicolet Blvd, Menasha. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to a humane society of one's choice.
