Obituary:
McGlin "Slim", Michael J. Age 60 of Menasha, passed away October 11th, 2017 at home with his family by his side. Mike was born October 9th, 1957 to Robert and Mary Jane (Everts) McGlin in Appleton. Mike graduated from Appleton East and then went on to work at Neenah Foundry as a Pattern Maker for over 40 years.
Mike married Cindy Smith on October 20, 1989 in Oshkosh. Mike is survived by his wife; his sons Phillip (Brooke) and Josh (Lorinda), his two grandsons Talon and Blade, mother Mary Jane; siblings Pam, Pat (Mariella), Kevin (Debbie), Jeff (Judy) and Debbie (Jim) Reschke, sisters-in-law Darlene Norkog and Patricia Willer. and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mike enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, dogs, and watching the Brewers and the Packers play.
Mike was preceded in death by his father; mother-in- law Sarah and father-in-law William; sister- in-law Darlene; brothers-in-law Gale, Rick and Howard, nephew Luke Vitalis and step father Dick Brown.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Sunday, October 22th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Green Lawn Memorial Park,1451 Green Valley Road Neenah, with a prayer service at 2:30 p.m. The family would like to thank Affinity Visiting Nurses Hospice for their care and comfort at the end of Mike's life.
Mike you are loved and will be greatly missed Love, Cindy.
