Mrs. Joseph Vils, age 69, passed away at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at New London after a long illness. She was born January 18, 1892, Rock Creek, Minn. She was a resident of the Kaukauna area most of her life. Mrs. Vils is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Matt Klein, Appleton; one brother, Walter Kappell, Kaukauna. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic church, Kaukauna, Rev. Peter Salm officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral home, Kaukauna, after 7 p.m. Thursday. Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
