    Collar, Daniel E.Daniel E. Collar, age 64. Born August 17, 1941 in Appleton, WI, died peace fully at his home in Newhall, CA on Friday, November 11, 2005, with fami ly members present, following a slow decline in health over the past yea r.Dan, Sue and their children have lived in California since 1970. During th at time Dan worked as the operations manager for JC Penney in Torranc e. He finished his professional career as Vice President of Spears Manufac turing Co. in Sylmar.Dan and his family attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Pedro begi nning in 1971, and they attended OLPH Catholic Church in Newhall beginni ng in 1978.Daniel is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan (Reich); his sons and th eir spouses: Patrick and Gwen, Steven and Christa, Bradley and Lindsay; h is grandchildren, Christopher and Harrison; his brother, Robert; his siste rs: Sue (Bahr), Jeanice (Armstrong), and Lynn (Hicks); his mother, Doroth y; and mother-in-law, Lucille Reich.Mass, funeral, and reception will be held Friday, November 18th at Missi on Hills Catholic Mortuary, 11160 Stranwood Avenue, Mission Hills, CA 9134 5, at 1 p.m.In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the National Kidn ey Foundation at the following web page: https://www.kidney.org/ support/m akegift/index.cfm
