    Sophie L. Kussow, 88, Wrightstown, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 9, 2006, at her home. She was born April 8, 1918, in Wisconsin, daughter to the late Herman and Alvina (Rathke) Rohloff. She graduated from Wrightstown High School, and married Willard Kussow May 21, 1940, and he preceded her in death September 30, 1964. Sophie worked at the Lee Store in De Pere for many years after Willard passed away. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society and Martha Circle. Sophie loved sewing, crocheting, and knitting for her family. She also enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and canning. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include five children: Kenneth (Carol) Kussow, De Pere; Virginia Ehnerd, Greenleaf; Norbert (Elizabeth) Kussow, De Pere; Bonnie Chambers, Madison; and Kathleen (Jim) Martin, Colorado; 23 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jean Kussow, Green Bay; sister-in-law, Mildred Rohloff, De Pere; and special cousin, Ervin Zittlow. Sophie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Roger; and a brother, Gilmore. Family and friends may call Tuesday, November 14, 2006, from 9 a.m., until the time of funeral service at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Wrightstown. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, at church, with Rev. Ronald Zindler officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown is assisting the family. The family respectfully requests no flowers. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

    Irene M. Petersen, age 84, formerly of Eland, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg.
    She was born on June 26, 1923 in Greenville, WI, the daughter of the late Herman and Ida (Bielefeldt) Rohloff.
    On May 23, 1942, Irene was united in marriage to Arthur C. Petersen in the town of Ellington, Outagamie County. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1979.
    Irene was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, the Elderon Homemakers and Cemetery Club. She enjoyed embroidering and crocheting. Over the years many of her gifts displayed her talents. Irene was also known for her savory pies and homemade bread.
    She is survived by one son, Harold (Shirley) Petersen, Eland and their children Dale Petersen and his children Caleb & Jacob, Karen (Ron) Gleason and their children Eric, Shawn & Jessica, Lori (Jim) Levandowski and their children Andres, Courtney & Ashley and Julie (Marlon) Lyons and their children Benjamin, Dylon & Lukas; three daughters, Janet (Martin) Dettmering, Mosinee and their children Kimberly (Bill) Jarvis and their children Shanna & Cole and Sheri (Dave) Crabill and their children Natasha, Taylor & Logan, Edna (Donald) Moore, South Carolina and their children Shannon & Kelly and Lola (Brian) Printz, Colorado and their child Sydney Printz; one brother, Willard Rohloff, New London and one sister, Delores (Glenn) Flunker, Appleton.

Interment will be in Evergreen Rest Cemetery, Town of Elderon. Friends may call on Friday from 4pm until 7pm at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg and again on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of services at the church.

    Willard Carl Rohloff, "Bill", 82, of New London, passed away at Appleton Medical Center on Wednesday, January 16th, 2008. Bill was born in Greenville on April 28, 1925, to Herman and Ida (Bielefeldt) Rohloff. He married Ruth Botker on September 28, 1946. Bill started farming and trucking milk in the Greenville area. He continued his career in trucking for various companies and then owning his own trucking company. Bill was known for playing cards, dancing and his life on the road as a trucker.
    He is survived by his sons: Douglas (Frances) Rohloff, Clifford (Judy) Rohloff, Roger (Amy) Rohloff; daughter, Annette (Michael) Adams; grandchildren: Kevin, Chad, Kris, Mike, Yvonne (Conrad), Roger (Terry), Renee (Matthew), Lisa (Gavin), Danielle (George), Tracy; great-grandchildren: Molly, Brook, Scott, Eva, Reed, Spencer, Zander and a sister Delores (Glenn) Flunker.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Melvin and sisters: Mildred and Irene.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2008, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 742 Depot St., Manawa, 54949 with Pastor Wally Waite officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
