    Janis L. (Knuth) Fuerst, 80, New London, went to her heavenly home on November 17, 2015; where she was surrounded by her loving family by her side. Janis was born February 13, 1935, in the Town of New Castle, Virginia. Her family later moved to New London where she spent her summers as a child at her Uncle Earls Farm. There she tended to dairy cows and horses. Janis attended and graduated from New London High School. She later married the love of her life, Glenn Fuerst, in January 1955. They had just celebrated there 60th wedding anniversary; together they owned and operated their family farm in Maple Creek for 40 years and raised their four children. Janis was the president of "WIFE" (Women Involved in Farm Economics) for many years. She enjoyed her horses, gardening, canning, baking, spending time with her family, shooting critters out her back window and working the family farm.
    Janis is survived by her children: Wayne A. Fuerst; Boston, MA; Tregg (Terry) Fuerst, New London; her son-in-law: Tim Van Asten, Greenville; also grandchildren: Whitney and Tristin Fuerst, Raleigh, Kaz and Blaine Van Asten, Magen and Haley Fuerst. She is further survived by her sisters and brother: Chris (Malcom) Cook; Marta (Gill) De Venecia; Kathy (Terry) Thompson and Otto (Debbie) Knuth; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents Rueben and Catherine Knuth, husband Glenn, daughter Pamela Van Asten, son Scott Fuerst and father and mother in-law, Clarence and Lorina Fuerst.
    The Christian Funeral service for Janis will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the New Maple Creek Cemetery, Town of Maple Creek.

    Janis married Fuerst, Glenn Abt Jan 1955. Glenn (son of Fuerst, Clarence and Bubholtz, Lorina) was born 26 Apr 1926, Maple Creek, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 8 May 2015, New London, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; was buried , New Maple Creek Cemetery, Maple Creek, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]

    Scott G. Fuerst
    Age 50, of New London, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
    Scott was born in New London on November 25, 1962, the son of Glenn and Janis (Knuth) Fuerst. He graduated from New London High School and was employed by Curwood Manufacturing of New London for approximately 13 years. Scott worked on the family farm and was active in agriculture his entire life. Scott enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, and remodeling his house.
    Scott is survived by his two children: Magen and Haley, both of New London; former wife and mother of his children, Diana Hoffmann, New London; parents, Glenn and Janis Fuerst, New London; brothers, Wayne Fuerst, Boston, MA and Tregg (Terry) Fuerst, New London; and their children: Whitney and Tristin (godson); brother-in-law, Tim Van Asten and his children Raleigh, Kaz and Blaine (godson), Greenville. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
    Scott is preceded in death by his sister, Pamela (Fuerst) Van Asten; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Lorina Fuerst; and maternal grandparents, Rueben and Cathleen Knuth.
    A funeral service for Scott will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London, with Rev. William Heiges officiating. Family and friends may visit directly at church Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Old Maple Creek Cemetery, Town of Maple Creek.

    Pamela J. Van Asten (Fuerst), age 47, Greenville, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, following a 7 year battle with cancer. Pamela was born on February 4, 1966, in New London daughter of Glenn and Janis (Knuth) Fuerst. She was confirmed on May 18, 1980. She was united in marriage to Tim Van Asten on June 10, 1989 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Appleton. Pam graduated from New London High School in 1984. She then attended Gill Tech Academy in Appleton to become a beautician. She owned and operated Michael John's Salon in Appleton. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Greenville. Pam was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
    She is survived by her husband, Tim; father and mother, Glenn and Janis Fuerst; her children, Raleigh, Kaz and Blaine, all at home; brothers: Wayne Fuerst (special friend Charlie), MA; Scott Fuerst, New London, his children, Magen & Haley; Tregg (Terry) Fuerst, New London, their children, Whitney and Tristin. Sisters in-law and brothers in-law: Debbie (Tim) Woods and their children, James and Andrew; Terry Van Asten and his children Vaili, Christopher, Sterling, Dallin, Mackinzie and Leilani; Todd (Paula) Van Asten their children: Sidney, Ivy, and Isabelle (Godchild); Troy Van Asten (special friend Brittney), and also Owen Gerhardt and Shaun Knuth,(both Godchildren). Pam is further survived by her father and mother in-law, Jim and Bernice Van Asten.
    She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rueben and Cathleen Knuth and Clarence and Lorina Fuerst.
    Funeral services for Pam will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Greenville with Rev. David Scharf officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-7 p.m. at the CHURCH and also on Tuesday at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
