Sharon Ann (Kussow) Denissen, 73, Madison, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2016 following a stroke. The daughter of W. Sherman and Verna (DeRuyter) Kussow was born May 16, 1943 in Green Bay.
Sharon attended Briggs School, a one room school house, before graduating from Wrightstown High School in 1961, and continued her education at UW-Oshkosh. She married Roman J. "Butch" Denissen at St. Jude Church in Green Bay on August 26, 1967. They spent over 45 wonderful years together before his passing in 2013.

Horeb; Amy (Jaysin) Raykowski and their children Sam, Jayne, Lucy and Mae, Mount Horeb; and Kate (Craig) Borenz, and their son, Robert Roman, Madison. She is further survived by her siblings, Bill (Sharon) Kussow, Kay (Tom) Neuman, Joe (Lynn) Kussow and Amy (Joe) Leonhard, as well as many other friends and family.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Verna, and husband Butch.
