    Obituary:
    George M. VanderLinden, 35, 415 E. Maple street, died at 11:30 Sunday morning after a 2-week illness. He was born July 4, 1905, in Appleton and lived here all of his life, being employed at the Appleton Woolen mills for 13 years. Mr. VanderLinden was a member of Sacred Heart church. Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Patricia, Phyllis, at home his mother, Mrs. Henry VanderLinden, Appleton; a brother, Edward, Appleton; two sisters. Sister Cornelia, St. Louis, Mo.; Sister Consolata, Waterloo, Iowa. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart church by the Rev. F, L. Ruessmann, the cortege forming at 9:30 at Wichmann Funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery chapel. The body may be viewed at the funeral home where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 this evening.

    Gottschalk, Cheryl L.Cheryl L. Gottschalk, Appleton, age 47, passed away suddenly on Monday, De cember 12, 2005. Cheryl was born in Appleton, WI, on August 23, 1958, daug hter of the late DuWayne and Patricia (Vanderlinden) Gottschalk.She will be greatly missed by her son, Joshua; brother, Gary (Mimi) Gottsc halk; sisters: Michelle (Ron) Joosten and Denise (Jim) Meyers; nieces a nd nephews: Kimberly, Justin, Brittany, Brandon, Danielle, Sara and Hunte r. Cheryl will also be missed by her best friend, Chris Schmidt and her sh eephead card buddies.
    She was preceded in death by her aunt, Phyllis Froelich.The memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 200 5, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, with Pete Reinl officiating. Visitors wi ll be received at the funeral home on Thursday, December 15 from 2 p.m. un til the time of service.WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME 537 North Superior Street Appleton 739-1231
