She was a great cook; she never wasted anything, and made great homemade bread. Ermina attributed her long life to her "daily cocktail" of apple cider vinegar, honey and warm water. Her greatest enjoyment came from time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was further preceded in death by four children: three sons, Lawrence, Floyd and John Roegner and a daughter, Rosemary (Dave) Schuh; a granddaughter, Suzanne Hughes; two brothers, Edwin (Delores), and Alvin Wollersheim; and a sister, Marcella Tennessen.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Ermina will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, July 8, 2016 at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, 1810 N. McDonald Street, Appleton, with the Rev. Gerald Falk officiating. Ermina's family will receive relatives and friends at Valley Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 4:00 -7:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM.
