    Gladys C. (Miller) Hopfensperger, 83, Askeaton, was called home from Ledgeview Nursing Home, De Pere, on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, with her family by her side. A daughter of the late Perry and Anna (Young) Miller was born June 26, 1925, in Appleton.
    Throughout her life Glady held various jobs up until her marriage to Greg Hopfensperger on Sept. 28, 1949, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton. After marrying she was a mother of 11 children, which kept her quite busy throughout the years.
    Gladys is survived by four daughters, Helen Hopfensperger, De Pere, Julie Getlinger (special friend, Jerry), Pine River, LouAnn (Mark) Binsfeld, De Pere, and Karen Quella (special friend, Randy), Brillion; four sons, Greg (Kathy) Hopfensperger, Wayside, Frank Hopfensperger (special friend, Pat), Kaukauna, Leo (Judy) Hopfensperger, Ogdensburg, and Bob Hopfensperger, Menasha; one son-in-law, Kevin Clavers, Brillion; 22 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Seegers, Freedom, and Margaret Vogl, Appleton; sister-in-law, Andrea Miller, Appleton. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
    She is preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Greg; two infant daughters, Rose and Dorothy Hopfensperger; and daughter, Sue Clavers; two brothers, Ray Miller, Jack (Dolly) Miller; and one sister, Irene Miller.
    Family and friends may call on Thursday (today) March 26, 2009, from 4 to 8 p.m. at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main St., Wrightstown. A parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 27 at Holy Family Parish, 1100 W. Ryan St., Brillion from 10 to 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church with the Rev. Matthew Siminar officiating.     Sue Clavers, age 57, of 1017 Golf View Drive, Brillion, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 12, 2009. Sue was born in Appleton on April 23, 1951, daughter of Gladys (Miller) Hopfensperger and the late Gregory Hopfensperger. She married Kevin Clavers on September 8, 1978, in Askeaton. Sue worked for over 20 years at Target in the Fox River Mall. She liked to bowl, read, do puzzles, and she loved her grandsons.
    She was a member of Holy Family Parish, The Christian Mothers, and the church choir.
    She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her children; Christopher, U.S. Army, Iraq; Kelly Trepanier (special friend Kyle), Brillion; Sarah, Brillion; and Sue's grandsons, Taylor and Caden Trepanier. She is also survived by her mother, Gladys Hopfensperger of De Pere; four brothers and four sisters: Gregory "Butch" (Kathy) Hopfensperger, Wayside; Frank (special friend Pat) Hopfensperger, Kaukauna; Leo (Judy) Hopfensperger, Ogdensburg; Robert Hopfensperger, Menasha; Helen Hopfensperger, De Pere; Julie Getlinger, Pine River; Lou Ann (Mark) Binsfeld, DePere; and Karen Quella, Brillion. She is further survived by her step-mother, Bonnie Hopfensperger, Brillion; and half-sisters: Michelle, Melissa, Mindy, and Megan; several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends; and her Target family.
    She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters, Rose and Dorothy.
    Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2009, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion with Fr. Phillip Dinh-Van-Thiep officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Brillion. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Sunday from 4-8 p.m., and then again at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of mass. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

    Karen Lynn Quella, age 54 of Kaukauna, died July 3, 2015 in the Town of Harrison.
    Karen was born March 9, 1961 in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Gregory Hopfensperger and Gladys Hopfensperger. She was a graduate of Wrightstown High School, class of 1979. Karen worked at the Fox Valley Auto Auction for many years but most recently was employed at the Ariens Company. Karen enjoyed bingo and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
    She is survived by her children: Jenny (fiancé Russ Louden) Quella of Brillion, Adam (Melanie) Quella of Menasha, Nick (Jenny) Quella, Stefanie Fischer, Zack Quella of DePere, Shelby Quella of Appleton, Jeffrey Quella, Rachel Quella and Jordan Quella both of Kaukauna; seven grandchildren: Logan, Ariah, Morgan, Charlee, Madison, Allison and Taliyah; siblings and in-laws: Gregory (Kathy) Hopfensperger of Wayside, Frank (Pat) Hopfensperger of Kaukauna, Leo (Judy) Hopfensperger of Waupaca, Robert Hopfensperger of Appleton, Helen Hopfensperger of DePere, Julie (Jerry) Getlinger of Pine River, Lou Ann (Mark) Binsfeld of Greenleaf, Kevin Clavers, step-mother: Bonnie Hopfensperger; four half-sisters:, Michelle Pieper, Melissa Anger, Mindy Schumacher and Megan Hopfensperger; and the fathers of Karen's children, David Samuel Quella and Randal Fjellerad.     Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Officiating is the Rev. Timothy Brandt. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery in Brillion.
    Friends may call Thursday night, July 9, 2015 at the Wieting Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, in Brillion from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A small prayer service will conclude the visitation that evening. The visitation will continue on Friday morning at Holy Family Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m.
