    Spaulding, Anita F.
    Anita F. Spaulding, age 88, Shiocton, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009, at St. Joseph Residence in New London. Anita was born on November 26, 1921, in Shiocton, daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth (Durant) Bedor. She formerly worked at the Toy Factory in Hortonville and the Kraut Factory in Shiocton. She also worked at the Munitions Plant in Baraboo.
    Anita is survived by a daughter, Carol Young, Shiocton; two brothers: James Bedor, Waupaca and Dennis (Angeline) Bedor, Larson; three grandchildren: Nikole (Brian) Drath, Amber and Alexander Young; and one great-grandson (the light of Anita's life), Owen Drath. She is also survived by special friends: Art, Debbie and Amanda Blank and Deborah Drath; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Harvey "Happy" Beyers; 2nd husband, Eugene Spaulding; two sisters: Alta Knueppl and Eunice Davidson; four brothers: Duane, Elmer, Robert, and Gerald Bedor.
    Funeral services for Anita will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Shiocton. Burial will be in the Shiocton-Bovina Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
    A memorial fund has been established. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested plants.

    King - James K. Bedor, age 93, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI passed away Friday, August 24, 2018. He was born in Wisconsin on March 27, 1925 to the late Ralph and Ruth (Durent) Bedor.
    Survivors include two nieces: Heather (Curt) Eastman, Larsen and Carol Young (Spaulding), Nichols; and three nephews: Douglas Bedor, Menasha, Kevin (Nicole) Bedor, Marion, and Christopher Bedor, Larsen.
    He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis, Robert, Jerry and Sonny; and his sisters, Eunice Davidson, Alta Knipple and Anita Spaulding.
    Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.

    Dennis David Bedor, 79, of Larsen, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Appleton Healthcare Center.
    Dennis was born August 12, 1933, in Shiocton, the son of the late Ralph and Ruth (Durent) Bedor. He was united in marriage to Angeline "Angie" Close on July 2, 1955, in Shiocton. Prior to his retirement, Dennis was a semi-truck driver for 20 years with Marquardt Millwork of Oshkosh and later was employed with Hillshire Farms, New London. He was a member of the Larsen/Winchester Lions Club, and volunteered with the club's construction of over 400 handicap ramps for area residents' homes. Dennis and Angie enjoyed taking road trips to the casinos together and he was a big Packer fan!
    Survivors include his wife Angie; daughter, Heather (Curt) Eastman, Larsen; three sons: Douglas Bedor, Menasha, Kevin (Nicole) Bedor, Marion, and Christopher Bedor, Larsen; two grandchildren, Jasmine and Jacob; a brother, James K. Bedor, King; a brother-in-law, Leonard (Joyce) Close, Pembine; two sisters-in-law, Carole (Richard) Funnell, Neenah, and Darla Close, Waukesha; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Jerry and Sonny; and his sisters, Eunice Davidson, Alta Knipple and Anita Spaulding.
    The funeral service for Dennis will be Friday, June 21, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church-ELCA, 1140 Tullar Rd., Neenah, with Rev. Jon Gallatin officiating. Visitation will begin Friday at the church at 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dennis's honor may be sent to the Greater Wisconsin Alzheimer's Association , Memory Walk, 2900 Curry Lane, Green Bay, WI, 54311.
    The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at Appleton Healthcare Center for their care and support given to Dennis while he lived there.
