    Obituary:
Myron E. Spranger, Sr., age 87, of Black Creek, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. He was born July 29, 1928 in Navarino, WI, the oldest son of the late Clarence and Viola (Conradt) Spranger.
He spent most of his childhood and teen years living and working at his grandma and grandpa Conradt's farm. In 1948 Myron joined the U.S. Army and served for 21 years. He was a Korean War Veteran and retired as a Sargent First Class. In 1954 while stationed in National Park NJ he met and married Helen D. Maier. They went on to have a family and made several moves that the military life required of him. They also lived in such places as Germany, Michigan and Texas. After retiring from the Army in 1969, the family made one more move to Wisconsin where Myron was born and raised.
He was a member of the Seymour American Legion and the Black Creek Community Bible Church. He always had the desire to be a farmer, so they built a farmett a few miles north of Black Creek, where he raised a few chickens, pigs, goats and a jersey cow that had to be milked by hand. While playing "Old McDonald", he was also employed at Appleton Papers until 1990. He enjoyed many years traveling with his wife, babysitting his grandchildren, and helping his neighbors and son-in-law on their farms. He was well known for liking things neat and tidy, and that is the way he kept his home, yard, and himself. In 2006 Myron was diagnosed with Alzheimer's which robbed him of many years that could have been much more enjoyable to him.
Myron is survived by his wife Helen of 61 years; his son, Myron Jr. (Sharon) Spranger, Hortonville; daughter, Shirley (Mike) Thiel, Black Creek; son, Ronald (Wanda) Spranger, Black Creek; ten grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 4 step-great grandchildren; brother, Donny (Reiko) Spranger, Kaukauna; sisters: Carol Spranger, Appleton; Shirley Salerno, Appleton; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law: Barbara Hassel, NJ; Carol (Ron) Sparks, NJ; and Daveine (Forest) Wendt, IL; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by an infant daughter, and his brother, Eugene.
Friends may call at Seymour Assembly of God Church on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bernard Ferguson officiating. Military Rites will follow the service. Burial will take place in the Cicero Methodist Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com.
Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
The family would like to acknowledge the staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, and especially the girls on Memory Lane. We are so thankful for you and you all hold a special place in our hearts.

    Obituary:
Dennis C. Conradt, age 75, Shiocton, passed away peacefully on March 1st at home with his family. He was born January 22, 1940, son of late Ervin (Butch) and Grace (Voight) Conradt. He married Peggy Draheim on June 8, 1960. They were married 54 years. His interests were unlimited; he served nine years on the Shiocton School board, was on council at First Lutheran Church, member of the Shiocton Business League, and many other conservation clubs. His pride and joy was being one of the founders and also his presidency for 22 years for Shadows on the Wolf, and couldn't be prouder of the many things the club had done for the environment, communities, and the multiple handicap docks for fishing. Denny was the happiest when working in his shop and making frames and many other projects for his family. He made and donated the signs at the Bovina and Medina Cemeteries. He had a love for flowers which came from his mother that showed up in his yard every spring, which he watered with pails of water on his golf cart.
Denny started married life as a farmer, worked at Bentles Cheese Factory and then decided to try his hand at owning a tavern - until a fire took that away. He then went to an auctioneer school and became Colonel Conradt. When he graduated he worked with Singler Auction for several years and still continued to help out with benefits and fundraisers. He started construction with Appleton Asphalt then went to Badger Highway for several years. After this he went on the road with Fox Valley Construction for many years till it was dissolved. He then finished his career at Musson Brothers where he was asphalt superintendent until he retired.
During this time, Denny still found time to have 6 awesome children, whom he was so very proud of with 11 grandkids and his godson John Dennis . After his retirement he became an Ordained Minister so he could marry one of his granddaughters, which he said was really special. He still had a few more weddings in the making. Obituary:
Henry Walter Conradt, Jr., better known as Hank, lost his courageous battle with esophageal cancer on February 21, 2016, at the age of 60. Hank was born in New London on October 28, 1955, son of the late Henry and Ruby (Leiby) Conradt. After graduating from Shiocton High School in 1973, he went to work at Appleton Asphalt. Following over thirty years of employment, he retired from Northeast Asphalt, where he was fondly known as "Hammerin' Hank". Hank married the love of his life, Carol Theisen, on March 26, 1983 in Shiocton.
Hank loved to spend time with his three sons and their friends. The annual Conradt Campout was always a blast - he would mingle with the younger generation and soon became a living legend. Everyone loved him, and he always had a smile on his face. Hank also loved to eat, especially Grandma Ruby's casseroles, pickled pigs feet, and potato pancakes. A farm boy at heart, he longed to be outdoors enjoying God's creation on the farm, or by hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife: Carol Conradt; three amazing sons: Travis (Nicole) Conradt, Matthew (Nikki) Conradt, and Craig Conradt (friend Kate Block); and two beautiful grandsons: Tanner and Jack, who are sons of Matt and Nikki. Two more grandchildren are expected to join the family this summer. He is also survived by a sister: Ruth (Dan) Glaser; three brothers: Ronald Conradt, Terry (Joanie) Conradt, and Jerome (Cindy) Conradt; sister-in-law: Sandy Conradt; as well as Carol's siblings: Sharon (Jane) Theisen, Karen (Robert) Schmidt, and John (Mary) Theisen. There are also many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, and his Godchildren: Laura Schroeder and Amanda Piepenburg.
Hank was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Roger, Carol's parents Robert and Marlyn Theisen, and a special nephew Lucas Schmidt.
The Christian Funeral Service for Hank will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 26, 2016 at MESSIAH EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, W7574 State Road 54 in Shiocton. Rev. Bradley Ragner will officiate, and burial will follow in the Bovina Township Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street in Appleton on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again Friday morning at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. The family is deeply grateful to the many people who have given so much of themselves during Hank's illness. The staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology was simply amazing, especially Dr. Vijay Chaudhary. Thank you also to the dedicated staff at Appleton Medical Center, the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and his family physician, Dr. Melanie Rohloff.
Our dear friends, Millie Severson and Jerry Bickler were there to help at every turn, Hank's loving sister Ruth served as his 24-hour companion and caregiver, Reed Meltz came many times to help with things around the house, and Pastor Brad Ragner has been a never-ending source of spiritual comfort to all of us. We love you all, we thank you all, and we will forever remember your kindness to our family.
