Norman Alfred Propson, Sr., age 74, of Forest Junction, died on Friday, February 14, 2014 at his home in Forest Junction. He was born December 4, 1939, son of the late Ambrose & Helena (Hoerth) Propson.
Norman proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Stockbridge American Legion and worked at Tecumseh in New Holstein for 30 years. Prior to his time at Tecumseh, Norman drove semi across the country; he enjoyed the time he spent on the road and enjoyed the places it took him. Later in life, he also drove school bus for Daun Bus Services.
He was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting, fishing, and numerous snowmobile trips. Norm was a Jack-of-all-Trades who was mechanically inclined; so much so, that he was able to fully disassemble a vehicle and put it back together again.
In Norman's life, Polka Music reigned supreme and he loved the trip to Germany he took with the Jerry Schneider Band. Norman was truly a unique individual and those that knew him never had to question what was on his mind since his thoughts were freely shared with anyone around him.
Survivors include his children: Larry Propson of Green Bay, Rebecca Voelker of Chilton, Denise Propson of Manitowoc, Jeffrey (Kelly) Prospon of Chilton, Darlene Thurwachter of Chilton, Norman H. Propson, Jr. of New Holstein; numerous grandchildren and a great grandchild arriving in a few weeks; his sister and brother: Lillian (John) Ecker of Stockbridge, Jerry (Nancy) Propson of Hilbert; a sister-in-law: Hannah Propson; and a brother-in-law: Jerry Coenen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Frederick Propson; and a sister: Virginia Coenen.

    Obituary:
    Hilbert - Anthony (Tony) Thiel
Tony Thiel, 44, of Stockbridge, passed away in his sleep Saturday March 10, 2018, at Aurora BayCare hospital in Green Bay, after a four-year struggle with cancer.
Tony did not let his struggle define him, and he had the better of the cancer most of the time. He will be remembered for sharing his love for the outdoors with anybody who could keep up. On a motorcycle, in a boat, on the ice, or walking the land, Tony loved fishing, hunting, sturgeon spearing, scouting for deer, turkey, and bear, searching out mushrooms and asparagus, and finding grapes and berries for winemaking. He mastered the "dead-finger" fishing technique, smoking sturgeon, making jerky, barbecuing for family gatherings, scaring his nieces, playing the scarecrow and other characters, and singing karaoke. He was a proud dad and husband who did quality work, was a good teacher, and would lend a hand wherever needed.
Tony graduated from Hilbert High School and the Fox Valley Tech aviation program, and he served his country in the Air Force. He put his skills to use as a race car crew chief and inspector, and professionally as a maintenance mechanic and aircraft service center coordinator. He was previously employed at Tecumseh in New Holstein and Gulfstream Aerospace in Appleton.
Tony is survived by his wife of 10 years Amy (Kasten) Thiel, and by his daughter Amelia Thiel. Tony is also survived by his father Jim (James) Thiel, Hilbert; and four brothers and six sisters: Joe (Mary) Thiel, Oshkosh; Frank (Faith) Thiel, Wayside; Terry Thomas, Green Bay; Sandy (Curtis) Dixon, Larsen; Connie (Mark) Kimmes, Whitelaw; Carl Thiel, Salem, Wis.; Judy Price, Green Bay; Jeff (Adriane) Thiel, Little Chute; Mary (Jarrod) Sandoval, Pueblo, Colorado; and Anne (Dave) Ruby, Oshkosh. He is survived by uncles and aunts: Bob, Jim, Dave, and Mary Propson, Pat Henseler, Dave Thiel, and Margie Thiel, and over 40 nieces and nephews.
Preceding Tony in death were his mother Joan (Propson) Thiel, and an infant brother Edward Thiel.
A funeral service for Tony will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 15, at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. boettcherfamilyfuneral.com
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation are appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Nawaz and the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center in Green Bay for all their care and compassion.
