    SYLVIA TATE Maple Creek - Sylvia Virginia Tate. 7-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tate of Maple Creek, died at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon at her home. A malady contracted last Friday following illness with whooping cough brought her end. Funeral services will be held at 12 o'clock Friday noon at the home and burial will be made in Graceland cemetery, Clintonville. Bearers will be Glendon Finger, Gordon Stilen. Milton Bubolz, Earl Ruckdashel, Victor Krueger and Lawrence Ruckdashel. Flower girls will be Ruth Hill, Bicalda Finger, Jeanette Peeters and Phyllis Ruckdashel.     Gary L. Tate, age 79, New London passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton. He was born on March 18, 1937, in New London son of the late Lue and Lorraine (Seager) Tate. On May 11, 1957, Gary was united in marriage to Mary Recker in New London. He worked at Neenah Foundry for several years, then at Curwood for 34, years, retiring in 2003. Gary was a member of the New London Volunteer Fire Department for 34 years, and received the Firefighter of the year award in 1990. He enjoyed working in his garage; he loved working on and watching race cars, and sitting around the campfire with friends and family. Gary was a very loving father to his four children.
    He is survived by his wife Mary, children: Janice Platte, Fremont; Becky Tate (friend, John Vullings), Hortonville; Jon (Kelley) Tate, Appleton and David (Sarah) Tate, New London; grandchildren: Kevin Platte, Tyler Kempf, Damian Stillman, Phelan Stillman (Sara Parker), Angela Roman and Emily Roman; three great-grandchildren, Austin, Kyle and Lola; siblings, Sandy (Jim) Massonet, New London; Patsy (Tom) Scott, Florida; Barb (Bill) Roesler, Dale and Robert (Linda) Tate, Weyauwega. He is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, several aunts, uncles, step-father Irvin Handschke and mother and father in-law, Joseph and Florence Recker.
    Funeral Mass for Gary will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London with Fr. John Kleinschmidt officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
    Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
    The family would like to especially thank the staff at ThedaCare, Appleton, St. Joseph Residence, and ThedaCare, New London.
    In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the New London Volunteer Fire Department.

    Robert R. Tate Sr., age 64, Weyauwega, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 20, 2015, at his residence. Bob was born on June 2, 1950, in Clintonville son of the late Donald and Betty (Manier) Tate. On April 19, 1969, he was united in marriage to Florence Mocine in Stephensville. He graduated from Hortonville High School in 1968. Bob owned and operated Sunset Curve for 10 years, along with Sunset Curve Transport; retiring in 2008. He also worked 22 years at the Neenah Foundry; where they recognized his talent in metallurgy and business management and sent him to college. He loved his children and was always helping them; he helped his daughter Cindy renovate her house, worked on cars with his son Adam and taught his son Rob to drive truck and sold him his first Peterbilt truck and taught his daughter Ginny the values of farming and life. Bob cherished his grandchildren. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Baldwins Mills.
    Bob is survived by his wife Florence; daughters, Cindy Tate, Weyauwega; Ginny (Dan) Hartjes, Saxeville; sons, Robert Tate Jr., Weyauwega and Adam Hoeft, Appleton; brothers: Doug (Debbie) Tate, Larsen; Donald Jr. (Barb) Tate, New London; Tim Tate, New London; Jon (Jody) Tate, Stephensville and a sister Linda (Ralph) Mocine, Shiocton. He is further survived by 3 grandchildren, Sydney, Maddi and Hailey, numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Ann Krause.
    Funeral services for Bob will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Pastor Roger Nielsen officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

    Hortonville - Patrick Donald Tate, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Patrick was born on June 29, 1991 to Timothy Tate and Kathy (Lenzner) Paltzer in Neenah. Patrick grew up in Stephensville, spending countless hours outside with his siblings and cousins. He graduated from Hortonville High School. God blessed Patrick with his son Auden in December 2016. He enjoyed playing with and caring for Auden and watching him grow. Patrick spent time reading, exploring the outdoors and riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. He found joy working at Goodwill; being able to help and serve others.
    Patrick is survived by his parents, Kathy (Mike) Paltzer and Tim Tate; son, Auden Ritchie-Tate; siblings, Cassie (Eric) Lauters and Kyle Tate; step-brother, Joel Paltzer; maternal grandmother, Ramona Lenzner and nieces, Emma, Alonna and Allison Lauters. Patrick is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
    Patrick was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wallace Lenzner; paternal grandparents, Donald and Betty Tate and uncles, Robert Tate, Greg Griesbach, Neil Davis and Wayne Obry.
    The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stephensville. Rev. Joel Lillo will be officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville and again from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
    Patrick will be remembered for his sense of humor. He was gentle and kind. His laughter and deep brown eyes will hold a place in our hearts forever!
    Patch- I will miss you with all my heart. You have and always will be my angel. Love, Mommy
    A memorial fund has been established.
