Margaret K. Meier, 85, Green Bay, died peacefully at a Green Bay on February 26, 2005, surrounded by family. Born on July 16, 1919, she is the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Baum) Alesch. On May 29, 1941, she married Willard A. Meier in Appleton, he preceded her in death in 1994. Margaret devoted her life to her family, was an active swimmer, enjoyed playing cards, gardening, taking trips to Door County and times spent with her close friends at Cedar Lake Apartments. She was a lifetime member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Green Bay. Margaret worked as a buyer for the Copps Corporation for 25 years until her retirement.
Margaret was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Linda Meier after having provided many years of loving care.
Margaret is survived by her four children, Sandra (Ken) Muller, Baileys Harbor; Bill (Mary Jean) Meier, Green Bay; Ronald (Jane) Meier DDS, Oconto; Sophie Jean (Richard) Delforge, Oconto; 14 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Edward (Marge) Alesch, Richardson, TX; Ione Faye, San Diego, Calif.; Eugene (Gara) Alesch, Salina, KS, Marilyn Kloes, Salinas, Calif.; many nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters.
Visitation at MALCORE Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird Street, Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Green Bay with Rev. Thomas Farrell officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

Edward Anthony Alesch passed away early Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Austin, Texas at age of 96.
Edward A. Alesch was born on January 30, 1921 in Appleton, Wisconsin. Edward married Marjorie Ellen Heins on December 15, 1951. They had two sons, John Edward Alesch and Edward Mark Alesch.
Edward Alesch worked as a consultant in the baking industry until the age of 92. He served in the Navy during WWII.
Edward is survived by his wife, Marjorie Alesch; his sons, John E. Alesch and Edward M. Alesch.

Obituary:
Georgine Gengler, 85, of Appleton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Brewster Village. Georgine was born on February 28, 1925, to the late Joseph and Agnes (Alesch) Heimmermann. Her mother passed away when she was very young and she spent 10 years living with her grandparents until her father married the person she considered her mother Genevieve Werner. She liked to dance and met her husband at the Cinderella Ballroom. She married Lawrence Gengler on May 29, 1952, at St. Therese and together they lived and worked on a farm on the north side of Appleton. On the farm Georgine blossomed, learning to drive, cook and bake wonderful breads, cookies and apple pies, flower arranging, and even upholster furniture. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends and neighbors, especially sheepshead. Georgine was a member of St. Edward Mackville and the Christian Mothers Organization. She had many special times with her first grandson Jason. She always loved to visit people, had a kind and loving heart and always was thinking of others first.
Georgine is survived by her daughter Sharon (George) Nemecek, Appleton; six grandchildren: Jason (Jacque) Nemecek, Katie Nemecek, Laurie (Nic) Davis, Mark Nemecek, Nick Nemecek, Derek (fiancee Jenny) Nemecek; seven great-grandchildren: Pearl and Zachery Nemecek, Gavin and Allison Courchesne, David and Georgia Davis, and Kendra Nemecek; brothers: Joseph (Mert) Heimmermann, Carl Heimmermann and David (Ruby) Heimmermann; a sister: Eunice (Ves) Vanden Hogen; brothers and sister-in-laws: Dan Van Boxtel, Ann Roeland, Rose Mueller, Helen Schommer, Jenny Gengler, and Rita (Pat) Roche, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Georgine was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, her sister Germaine, three infant brothers, and her sister-in-law, Sally (Bob) Schmidt, and brothers-in-law, John Roeland Merle Schommer and Clement Gengler and her mother- and father-in-law, Catherine and Andrew Gengler.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Georgine will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at ST. EDWARD CATHOLIC CHURCH (Highway 47 N, Mackville) at 11 a.m. with Fr. Mark Vander Steeg and Fr. Justin Werner co-officiating. Burial will be in the St. Edward Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Wichmann Funeral Home and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the Church. A Prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Georgine's name.

Joseph E. Heimmermann, age 86, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, King. Joe was born on April 25, 1926 in Appleton, son of the late Joseph Sr. and Agnes (Alesch) Heimmermann. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army overseas during World War II. On October 13, 1953, he was married to Myrtle Peters at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandtown. For most of his career, he worked as a pressman at Banta Corportation in Menasha.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Myrtle; his son, Mark (Sharon) Heimmermann, and their sons, Matthew and Luke; a sister, Eunice (Sylvester) Vanden Hogen; two brothers, Carl Heimmermann and David (Ruby) Heimmermann; a brother-in-law, Daniel Van Boxtel; Chuck (Ann) Peters; and Ethel Overesch. He was further preceded in death by his step-mother, Genevieve Heimmermann; two sisters, Georgene (Lawrence) Gengler, and Germaine Van Boxtel; and a sister-in-law, Lucy Heimmermann; Marlene and Ted Brunette, and Vernon Overesch.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Joe will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 E. Lourdes Dr., Appleton, with Fr. Don Zuleger officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. Interment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.

Patricia (Patsy) Lynn Roche (Alesch) passed away Saturday, June 25 with family by her side. Patricia was born on December 12, 1935 to Arthur and Marcella (Koehnke) Alesch Patricia attended Catholic grade school in Appleton and Darboy then attended Kimberly High school and later continued her education at FVTC. Patricia resided in the Hortonville area where she worked at Hortonville Toy Factory, the Canning Company, and later at Pacon Corp. for many years where she was known as "Mother Superior". Patricia also worked at Bergstrom Paper and at American Can until she was injured. She also worked several jobs involving care for handicap and elderly. Patricia volunteered for Domestic Abuse, Harbor House, and the Humane Society. She volunteered with the belief that if only one life changed or one animal was saved, then it was worth her time. Her passion for animals caused her to have many pets of her own that were treated like Kings and Queens. Patricia loved to travel. Whether it was a trip in the country, Door County or to Germany, she always wanted to get out and see the sights. Patricia gave of herself to her children all her life. Caring for them especially when they had health issues, it was Mom to the rescue. She worried and cared until she couldnt anymore. No matter where she lived or worked, she touched others lives and made friends which include the many homes she lived in the past few years. Patricia is survived by her children Michael (Espi), Wichita Falls, TX., Bill (Pam), Mill Center, Jerry (Linda), Gresham, Randy (Nancy), Hortonville, Jeff(Debbi), Freedom, Debbie(fiancé-Mike), Madison, 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Suzanne (David) Heller and her nephews Mark and Danny Heller, and her longtime friend Katrina (Katie) Leon. We would like to thank Sharon and the girls at Greenville Manor where she enjoyed her friend Carlyle Manley (aka Grandpa Manley) with a game or two. We also would like to thank the caring and loving staff of St. Joe's Nursing Home in New London for all you did. A very special thank you to Dr. Price and especially Nurse Nancy for going above the call of duty. Whenever we needed your help, you were there! Also a special thank you to Community Care workers Linda Schmidt and Dana Daubner-Lenz for their true caring through every challenge.
