    Joyce I. Hoerig nee Jack
    89, Greenville, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Living Tree in Greenville. She was born in Greenville on December 31, 1924 to the late Roland and Ella (Fetzer) Jack. Her high school sweetheart, Francis Hoerig and she wed on January 14, 1941 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville. Joyce was a homemaker and mother to her two sons. She also decorated cakes and specialized in wedding cakes. She and Fran loved their Boston Terriers, which were members of the family. They also were avid Packers fans and their season tickets have been passed down to their grandchildren, who enjoy carrying on the family tradition.
    Joyce is survived by her daughter-in-law, Nikki Hoerig (H. Eugene) McBrayer, Mercer Island, WA; Grandchildren: David Hoerig, Boulder, CO; Andrea (Tony) Beer, Pleasant Prairie, WI; Paul (Patty) Hoerig, Winston-Salem, NC; Great Grandchildren: Taylor Beer, Thane and Amelia Hoerig; sister-in-law, Patricia Jack; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Fran; parents, two sons: Ronald and Gerald; brother and sister.
    Mass of Resurrection for Joyce will be held at 12 PM (Noon) Saturday, August 9, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Greenville with Rev. Peter Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery following Mass. Friends may visit the family from 10:30 AM Saturday directly at church prior to the Mass.
    The family wishes to thank Butch and Sandy Chalupa, the staff of Living Tree and Southern Care Hospice for all of the love and care shown to Joyce.
    Memorials may be directed to the UW School of Veterinary Medicine; WI Boston Terrier Rescue or Southern Care Hospice.
