    Obituary:
    Patti Ann Bruner, 59, Appleton, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 2, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born April 26, 1951, in Appleton to Karl and Dolores (Herwig) Bohnsack. Patti very much enjoyed working as a Paraprofessional at Appleton Central Alternative High School and the YMCA after school program at Horizons Elementary School. She had a special way of connecting with students and could find a way to get them to open up, trust her and share concerns. Patti was a giving individual whose joy in life was helping others.
    She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, school children and pets.
    Patti was preceded in death by her father, Karl.
    Friends may visit the family from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
