Obituary:
Mrs. Helen Arndt, 69, of 117 Madison St., Brillion, died Monday in Green Bay following a long illness. Funeral services will be Wednesday in Trinity Lutheran church, Brillion. The Rev. Harlyn Kuschel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Arndt, nee Helen Schwalenberg, was born Oct. 14, 1907, in the town of Woodville, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Anne Schwalenberg. She was married to Otto Arndt July 6, 1930, in the town of Woodville. She and her husband operated Arndt's Meat Market, Brillion for 40 years. Mr. Arndt preceded her in death in 1971. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, Ladies Aid Society, School Club and Ladies Mission Society.
Survivors include a son, Clayton of Brillion, a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mariann) Durig and a brother, Elmer of Hilbert; a sister, Mrs. Roman Broehm of Rt. 1, Menasha and nine grandchildren.
