Obituary:
Michael A. Bowers, Black Creek, 19, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, due to a work-related accident. He was born April 21, 1987, in Neenah, son of Andrew (Diane) Bowers and Brenda (Steinbecker) (Roger) Vigil. Michael was a 2006 graduate of Seymour High School. He loved racing, watching football and working with his dad, and time spent with his brother.
Michael is survived by his father, Andy (Diane) Bowers, Black Creek; sisters: Dawn (Bob) Mauthe, Tammy (Tom) Gorzlancyk, Carie (Aaron) Sommers, Melissa, Jennifer and Kimberly Malcheski, and Haley Bowers; Michael's mother, Brenda (Roger) Vigil, Neenah; one brother, Roger Vigil II; sisters: Jami (Shawn) White, Geneva (Walter) Leyba, Corrina (Jason) Leyba; grandmothers: Verna Steinbecker, Dorothy Vanden Langenberg, and Diane Bowers; and also his nieces and nephews: Alex, Abby, Keaton, Emily, Ryan, Finley, Kiarra, Spirit, Jaylyn, Jordan and Jessica.
He was preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Bowers, Grandpa Larry Vanden Langenberg, Uncle Myron Bowers and Grandpa Robert Steinbecker.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Seymour Assembly of God Church, with Pastors Phillip Engle and Michael Lema officiating.
