    Obituary:
    Joseph Stransky, 72, of 205 N. Columbia St., Chilton, died at Winnebago Hospital at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. He was a patient there since May 3 and had been in ill health six years.
    Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic C h u r c h, Chilton, the Rev. Henry Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The C h i l t o n American Legion post will conduct military rites at graveside.
    Mr. Stransky was born at Chilton Sept. 26, 1889, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Stransky. He married Barbara Dekanich June 16, 1920, at Sheboygan.
    Mr. Stransky was a machinist at Hart-Carter Co. of New Holstein until his retirement six years ago. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles and C h i l t o n American Legion post.
    Survivors include his wife, twin daughters, Mrs. A. L. Larson of Hayward, Calif., and Miss Virginia Stransky of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Berg of Appleton, Mrs. Joseph Walber of N e w Holstein and Miss Amelia Stransky of Chicago, ILL., and two grandchildren. A brother, F r e d preceded him in death.
    Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p. m.

    Violet A. Larson, nee Stransky, age 91, of Sacramento, CA, formerly of Chilton, died on Friday, March 1, 2013 in Sacramento.
    She was born August 27, 1921 in Chilton, daughter of the late Joseph & Barbara (Dekonich) Stransky. Violet was born and raised in Chilton until her marriage and subsequent move to California. She worked for over 35 years at Industrial Electric Manufacturing in Fremont, CA as their CFO until her retirement at the age of 73.
    Survivors include her children: Scott Larson & Sandie Burns; and a grandchild: Jessica Larson. Vi was preceded in death by her parents; and her twin sister: Virginia Stransky.
    A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Chilton.
