    Obituary:
    Theo Belle "Dottin" Johnson, age 80, formerly of Green Bay and Kenosha, WI, passed away on July 21, 2007, with her family at her side in Oconto Falls, WI. She was born on May 25, 1927, in Kaukauna the daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Kahler) Regenfuss. Theo graduated from Appleton High School in June of 1945.
    She then enrolled in Milwaukee Accredited Beauty School. Upon graduation, she worked at Swan Beauty Studio in Wauwatosa. She married Vernon A. Johnson on November 5, 1949, in Denmark, WI. Theo and Vernon lived in Kenosha until 1980 when they moved to Green Bay. She was a devoted wife and mother to her three daughters Susan, Sally and Sandra and grandmother to Allison and Alex. Her family always came first. She taught Sunday School and Bible School at St. Mary's Lutheran Church in Kenosha. She was active in her daughter's PTA and served as room mother for their classrooms. She was also a Brownie and a Girl Scout leader. She belonged to the Homemakers Club, and Sewing Club, and did a lot of baking of Christmas cookies and treats for her family. Theo also loved to travel and fish with her family. In 1989, she and her husband drove all the way to Alaska from Green Bay. Theo enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their school programs.
    Survivors include her daughters: Susan Amber Johnson, Janesville, WI; Sally (Bill) Holtz and granddaughter Allison, Oconto Falls, WI; and Sandra Johnson and grandson Alex, Green Bay, WI; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Lorraine (Gus) Lukas, and Joan Buth, all of Manitowoc and Lloyd Benecke of Denmark.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Johnson, in 2004; her parents Alice Regenfuss in 1981 and Robert Regenfuss in 1958; her brother and sister-in-law Howard Kruse in 1984 and Erma Kruse in 1995; sister-in-law Audrey Benecke in 1998; and brothers-in-law William Johnson in 2000, and Ralph Buth in 1994.
    Visitation will be at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Denmark, WI, on Friday, June 27, from 3 to 6 p.m. with the funeral service following at 6 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Hankermeyer officiating. Interment will be at the West Danish Cemetery in Denmark. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolence may be expressed at

    A memorial fund is being established for Our Saviors Lutheran Church or Unity Hospice. Theo Belle's family wish to express their thanks to Meadowlands Assisted Living in Oconto Falls for the wonderful care given to her. The staff always made our mother feel at home; they became a second family to us. Also, special thanks to Unity Hospice and for the loving care and kindness they gave to Theo Belle. Your kindness will always be remembered.
