    Obituary:
    Walter Blank, age 87, New London died on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, after a short illness. Wally was born on October 1, 1926, in Dale, son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Noerenberg) Blank. He served his country in the US Navy during WWII on the USS New Jersey. Following the bombing of Hiroshima, Wally stood guard over the ruins. He was united in marriage to Matie "Mitzie" Standke on October 27, 1949, in Winona, MN. They celebrated 64 years together and lived in the same house for 52 years. Wally enjoyed watching Packer and Badger football games, driving his riding lawn mower and camping.
    He is survived by his wife Mitzie, children: Sally Duffin, MI; Diana (Marv) Hoagland, New London; Walter Jr. (Debbie) Blank, New London and Debbie (Les) Reed, Appleton; brother, Richard (Betty) Blank, New London. 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends further survived him.
    He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Fermanich, 2 brothers, Lawrence and Leonard, and a sister Lucille.
    At Wally's request no funeral services will be held.

    Richard Blank, age 84, New London, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015, after a long illness and declining health. Richard was born on October 4, 1930 in Dale son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Norenburg) Blank. He served his country in the US Army over seas in Germany for 4 years during the Korean Conflict. On January 16, 1954, Richard was united in marriage to Betty Schoenrock in King. In January 2014 they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Richard worked his entire life at Hayes Manufacturing in Neenah retiring in 1996. He enjoyed horseshoes, fishing, playing pool and bowling. He was an avid Packers and Brewers fan.
    Richard is survived by his wife Betty; his children, Sheila (Bruce) Lee, Sheri (James) Gose and Steve R. Blank; grandchildren: Eric (Victoria) Lee, Stephanie Lee, Adam (Amy) Lee, Kristi Gose and Taren Gose. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Kara Gose, 3 brothers and a sister.
    Funeral Services for Richard will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Rev. Kate Croskery-Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, King. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 29th from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service
