Obituary:
Mrs. Elnora Anson Rites Conducted at Shiocton Shiocton — Funeral services for Mrs. Elnora Anson, 73, whose death occurred at her home in the village Friday evening after an illness of two months, were conducted at the Congregational church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. F. N. Dexter of Union Grove assisted by the Rev. R. F. Black, pastor of the Shiocton church. Rebekah lodge, of which the deceased was a member, attended in a body and conducted the services at the grave. Interment was made at the Liberty cemetery. Bearers' were Howard Palmer. Jay Lonkey. Herman Miller, Ferdinand Braatz, George Kaufman and William Tretin. Elnora Torry. daughter of Daniel and Abie Tyler Torry was born in the town of Bovira April 4, 1864. She was married to Charles Anson of Liberty and lived in the vicinity of Shiocton since. For the last 18 years she had made her home in the village. Her husband preceded her in death. Survivors are two sons, Raymond, town of Liberty, and Harold of South Dakota: and three grandchildren.
