    Obituary:
    Age 86, of Bear Creek, went into the arms of his Lord on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. He was born in Black Creek, son of the late Jacob and Lorinda (Beyer) Stephani. On April 4, 1951, he was united in marriage to Lavina Surman at St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour. Ervin enjoyed farming for many years in Seymour. He also worked for Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac. Ervin also enjoyed Carpentry. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa.
    He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lavina; five sons and one daughter: Edward (Jane), New Holstein; Gary (Dianne), Waukesha; Dan and his fiance Margo, Randolph; Michael (Mary Jo), Green Bay; Ken (Sue) Fond du Lac; Linda (Kurt) Jenschke, Menasha; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers: Eugene, Lawrence (Delores); Jerome (Marcy); sisters: Florence (Ed) McCarthy, Roselyn Mauthe, Dolores (Arnie) Strauch, Lavern (Ron) Cropsey, Kathy (Jim) Fischer, Joyce (Vern) Manthe. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Vera Maroszek, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Charlie and Alma Surman.
    The Funeral Mass for Ervin will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa with Fr. Amalraj Roche and Deacon Gary Stephani officiating. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Shawano. A visitation for Ervin will be held directly at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

    Lawrence H. Stephani, 82, of Black Creek, passed away Tuesday morning, October 6, 2015 at Good Shepard Nursing Home in Seymour. He was born October 29, 1932, son of the late Jacob and Lorinda (Beyer) Stephani. On November 24, 1955, he was united in marriage to Delores Weiland.
    He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek. He farmed on his homestead farm.
    Survivors include his wife, Delores; children: Terry Stephani, James (Robin) Stephani, Steven Stephani, Vicki Stephani, and Dennis (Karen) Stephani; grandchildren: Amy (Joe) Ciochetto, Nicole Stepani (fiancé, Johnathan Gilmore), Joseph (Danielle) Stephani, Rodney (Paula) Stephani, Eric (Becky) Stephani, Dr. Jennifer Stephani (David) McCarthy, Cory Stephani, Jessica Stephani, Dillon Stephani, Brock Stephani, Amanda (Kenneth) Henneman, Carson Stephani, Hope Stephani, Lucia Stephani; great-grandchilren: Sienna Ciochetto, Lila Ciochetto, Mia Ciochetto, Landon Stephani, Isabella Stephani and Audrianna Stephani. siblings: Eugene Stephani, Florence McCarthy, Delores (Arnie) Strauch, Joyce (Dr. Vern) Manthei, Roselyn Mauthe, Kathleen (James) Fischer, and LaVerne (Ronald) Cropsey; sister-in-law, Lavina Stephani.     Jerome "Romy" A. Stephani, age 77, of Black Creek, lost a long battle with COPD on Sunday evening, October 12, 2014 and returned home to the glorious gates of Heaven where he was reunited with Jeff, the son he missed so much. He was born January 20, 1937, son of the late Jacob and Lorinda (Beyer) Stephani.
    On October 30, 1982 he was united in marriage to Marcella Becher.
    Romy drove concrete truck for MCC for 37 years and was very proud of every load that he delivered. He also farmed for several years in the town of Black Creek.
    Romy enjoyed a good fish fry with his family on Friday nights and listening to his polka music. He dearly loved his grandchildren and watching them play.
    Survivors include his wife, Marcie; daughters: Jennifer Wade, Seymour; Barbara Gilbert, Indiana; grandchildren: Preston Wade, Joey and Giulianna D'Amico; siblings: Eugene Stephani, Florence McCarthy, Delores (Arnie) Strauch, Lawrence (Delores) Stephani, Joyce (Dr. Vern) Manthei, Roselyn Mauthe, Kathleen (James) Fischer, and LaVerne (Ronald) Cropsey; mother-in-law, Rita Becher; sister-in-law, Lavina Stephani.     Black Creek - Roselyn "Rosie" Mauthe, 79, passed away at Good Shepherd Home in Seymour on Saturday, February 24, 2018. She was born November 7, 1938, daughter of the late Jacob and Lorinda (Beyer) Stephani.
    She graduated from Seymour High School and began working at Kimberly-Clark. Rosie was united in marriage to Dr. Donald Mauthe and together they raised five children; he preceded her in death.
    During her life Rosie was able to travel the globe. While living in Japan she was very active in the Japanese/American community. In 1985 she moved back home to Wisconsin.
    She is survived by her children: Diana (Thomas) Sullivan, Robert (Dawn) Mauthe, Lisa Mauthe, John (Angela) Mauthe; grandchildren: Kevin and Alissa Sullivan, Alex and Keaton Mauthe, Cody and Baylee Mauthe, Brady and Madalyn Mauthe, Nathan and Nicholas Hintz; siblings: Eugene Stephani, Florence McCarthy, Delores (Arnie) Strauch, Kathleen (James) Fischer, and LaVerne (Ronald) Cropsey; sisters-in-law: Lavina Stephani, Delores Stephani, and Marcie Stover.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William "Bill" Mauthe; brothers: Jerome "Romy", Lawrence, and Ervin Stephani; sisters: Elvera (Richard) Maroszek and Joyce (Dr. Vern) Manthei; sister-in-law: Lois Stephani; brothers-in-law: Richard Merholtz, Edward McCarthy, and Charles Golonka.

    Bernard A. Stephani, 71, Seymour, passed away at home on Friday, Nov. 23, 2007. He was born Aug. 24, 1936, to the late Isadore and Hazel (Hanson) Stephani. He graduated from Shiocton High School in 1954 and married Eva Samson on June 7, 1958, in Seymour. Bernie worked for Kuehne's for many years prior to employment with AI Breeding. Bernie and Eva later operated the Countryside Cafe in Black Creek for 13 years until he began working with Huettl Transport. He later retired as a manager from Madison Freight in 2004.
    Bernie farmed all his life and was active with the FFA and also served as President of 4-H for Outagamie County. In addition to farming and horses, he enjoyed spending time as "Dr. Pa" with is grandchildren. Bernie was fond of traveling, had a passion for baking and loved to tell jokes and old stories. He was also known to always be helping others in various ways.
    In addition to his wife, Eva, he is survived by two children, Jerry (Janet) Stephani, Appleton, and JoAnn (Dan) Green, Seymour; his grandchildren, Amber and Vicki Stephani and Steve and Mike Green. He is also survived by a brother, Tom (Louise) Stephani, New London; and a sister, Doris (Fred) Stoeger, Medina.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Friends may call to the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, with a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Seymour. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. with Fr. Robert Kabat officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

    Obituary:
    Jeffrey "Jeff" Stephani, age 28, of Seymour passed away Monday evening, November 28, 2011 surrounded by family. He suffered from complications of brain cancer. In life, Jeff loved to construct and was always available to lend a hand. His humor enhanced the lives of those he knew with laughter and friendship. His passing leaves a hole in our hearts and he will be incredibly missed. He was born March 31, 1983, son of Jerome and Marcella (Becher) Stephani.
    Survivors include his parents, Jerome and Marcella Stephani; sisters: Jennifer Wade, Black Creek; Barbara D'Amico, Indiana; grandma, Rita Becher, Seymour; niece and nephews: Giulianna and Joey D'Amico, Preston Wade
    Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jake and Lorinda Stephani; Francis Becher
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 5-8 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM and on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Father Bob Kabat officiating.
