    Behling, Theresa A. (nee Luniak) 715 East Kimberly Avenue KimberlyAge 105, died Thursday, November 7, 2002 at her home. Theresa was bo rn in the township of Harrison on May 22, 1897, the daughter of the late E rnest and Anna (Schicker) Luniak. She was the eighth child born of fourtee n, and was the last to survive. On April 20, 1920, she married Ray Behli ng at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Darboy. Ray preceded her in dea th on October 2, 1993. Theresa was a member of Holy Name Church, the Catho lic Order of Foresters, and the William Verhagen Post #60 American Legi on Auxiliary. She was raised in Darboy and had many stories to share abo ut her beloved family, friends, and neighbors. She lived on a farm, work ed for various families, and dated by horse and buggy!Ray and Theresa built their home close to the church and school and clo se to Ray's work, so he wouldn't have to deal with the horse. She liv ed in this same house until the time of her death. They also built a cotta ge on Roberts Lake in Wabeno, where family and friends gathered to fish, h unt, pick berries, and play cards. She loved the view of the lake and watc hing the trees change color in the fall. Theresa loved to sew, and up unt il she was nearly 102 years old she could be seen working on her old pedal -operated Singer sewing machine. She sewed for her brothers, sisters, chil dren, friends, and neighbors. She also enjoyed crocheting doilies and do ll blankets and hats for her little cupie dolls which she gave to her gran dchildren. She was still crocheting just a few weeks prior to her death. S he loved to cut out pictures from magazines and carefully pasted them in to scrapbooks, which the children enjoyed looking at when they came to vis it. Her favorite pastime was playing sheepshead. Her bedtime in the lat er years was at 9:00 PM, but if the cards were being dealt, the time on t he clock didn't matter. Most of the older grandchildren were taught the ga me by her while in grade school. She also enjoyed old musical movies and w ould watch them with her caregivers over and over in the evenings. Her do or was always open and her candy dish was always full. She loved visitor s; family and friends were always coming and going. She always had stori es to tell, children to love, and her prayer book at her side. Theresa h ad a wonderful sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh. Many were t ouched by her humor and sharp wit. Even in her last days, she lov ed to be teased, and made humorous remarks that we all will remember.Survivors include her six sons: Ray (Steena) Behling of Combined Locks; A rt (Marge) Behling of Hilbert; Ken (Ruby) Behling of Anderson, CA; Cyril ( Joanie) Behling of Combined Locks; Jerome 'Bucky" Behling of Darboy; Dan ( Dot) Behling of Kimberly; two daughters: Rose Erwin of Arlington, TX and C olette Kampo of Little Chute; two special granddaughters: Vikki Graf and B etsy Behling; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildre n; nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husban d, a daughter: Eleanor (Bob) Braun, three sons-in-law: Wade Murphy, Llo yd Erwin, Alex Kampo; a granddaughter: Barbara Westley; a grandson: Mark B ehling; her parents, and thirteen brothers and sisters.Theresa's wish was to remain in her home and her wish was granted with t he help of her family and an army of angels from the various agencies th at helped care for her. Thank you to Outagamie County Aging Services who s ent Carol Johnson to us. Carol worked with the family until her retireme nt and then Jennifer Schneider took over and continued to work with the fa mily along with Theresa's caseworker Sue Paveletzke. Thank you to the ma ny volunteers who delivered Theresa's meals, both from Outagamie County a nd Holy Name Church. Thank you also to Preferred Home HealthCare, the nurs es and bath attendants, with special thanks to Joyce Eisele and Molly Zeml ock. Theresa had a special bond with Molly and couldn't wait for her visit s. Thank you to Holy Name Parish from bringing prayers and communion. Spec ial thanks to Sister Annette for her frequent visits, Pete and Rikka Wydev en, Althea Valentyne, and to Theresa's special neighbor Evie Hopfensperg er for her weekly visits.Additional thanks to Home Instead's Steve Nooyen, Bonnie Joosten, Chris ty Kolb, and John Tomasich for their many visits and for sending their gro up of caring and compassionate angels that Theresa and her family loved a nd respected.     Raymond Behling, age 96 of Combined Locks, passed away at a local care center on Saturday, June 17, 2017. Ray was born in Kimberly on January 10, 1921, son of the late Raymond and Theresa (Luniak) Behling. He married Stena Lom on June 10, 1950; she preceded in death in 2007. As a young man, Ray served his country as a member of the United States Navy, and later worked at the Kimberly Clark mill in Kimberly for over forty-five years.
    Ray was an all-around good guy with a good sense of humor who enjoyed hunting and fishing, raising dogs, gardening, the Packers, and spending time up north at Roberts Lake.
    He is survived by three sons: Jeff (Gail) Behling of Wabeno; Doug Behling of Argonne; and Todd (Kay Huempfner) Behling of Little Chute. His grandchildren are Traci (Mike) Schuh, Benji (Ann) Behling, Linsey (Nick) Rochon, and Amber (fiancé Brian Hockers). His great-grandchildren are Connor, Olivia, Tristan, Ryker, and Briar. Ray is also survived a sister: Collette Kampo; brothers Arthur (Margie) Behling and Jerome "Bucky" Behling; sisters-in-law Joan Behling and Dorothy Behling; and a brother-in-law Glen Aerts.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Nick Behling, sisters Eleanor (Bob) Braun and Rosemary Irwin, and brothers Kenneth, Cyril, and Daniel Behling.
    The funeral liturgy for Ray will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 Wallace Street in Combined Locks, with Fr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery with full military honors. Family and friends are invited to gather directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.

    Cyril J. Behling, 79, Combined Locks, died Saturday August 6, 2011, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born July 2, 1932, son of the late Raymond and Theresa (Luniak) Behling. Cyril married JoAnn Socha on May 15, 1965.
    Cyril served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at Interlake Paper Mill until his retirement in June 1970. Cyril enjoyed gardening and playing cards. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the William Verhagen American Legion Post #60 in Kimberly.
    Cyril is survived by his wife of 46 years, JoAnn; four sons, Timothy (Laura), West Boro; Brian, Neenah; Scott, Bonduel; and Christopher, Combined Locks; daughter, Michele Micke, Menasha; eight grandchildren, Amanda Schwalbach, Jamie Harper, Tiffany Harper, Hannah Behling, Megan Behling, Blaine Behling, Dawson Bryant, and Miranda Micke; great-granddaughter, Haley Jones; four brothers, Raymond, Little Chute; Arthur (Marge), Kimberly; Jerome, Darboy; and Daniel (Dorothy), Kimberly; two sisters, Rosemary Ervin, Arlington, Texas; and Colette Kampo, Little Chute; and a sister-in-law, Ruby Behling, Anderson, Calif.
    He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth; two sisters, Eleanor Braun and Stena Behling; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Peter and Dorothy Socha; and four brothers-in-law, Robert Braun, Wade Murphy, Lloyd Erwin, and Alex Kampo.
    Funeral liturgy will be at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. Military honors will be provided by the William Verhagen American Legion Post #60. Burial will be at Holy Name Catholic Cemetery.

    Daniel Behling, 68, Kimberly, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Cherry Meadows Hospice, Appleton. He was born April 22, 1943, in Kimberly, son of Raymond and Theresa (Luniak) Behling, the youngest of nine children. Dan married Dorothy "Dot" (nee McGowan) Ellenbecker on July 30, 1970.
    Dan was employed at the Kimberly Mill his entire career, until his retirement in 2004. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Since his retirement, Dan enjoyed spending time on their land in the beautiful Wisconsin northwoods. Dan will be missed by his loving wife, family and friends.
    Daniel is survived by his wife, Dot; children, Lori (Rick) Ware, Neenah; Sarah Behling, Darboy; stepchildren, Kris (Rob) Brownson, Hortonville; Keith Ellenbecker, Appleton; grandchildren, Shane and Josh Rasmussen, Katie Ware; Amber (Josh) Peterson, Emily (Mike) Miller; Ben Jewson; great-grandchildren, Brielle Peterson; Anthony and Johanna Miller; brothers and sisters, Ray Behling, Little Chute; Art (Marge) Behling, Kimberly; Jerome "Buck" Behling, Darboy; Rosemary Erwin, Arlington, Texas; Colette Kampo, Appleton; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Behling, Combined Locks; Ruby Behling, Anderson, Calif.; Roberta (Paul) Tiseling, Menasha; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Behling, Nicholas Raymond "Nick"
    Nicholas Behling, 24, Little Chute, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 22, 2009. He was born September 18, 1984, in Appleton, son of Todd and Lisa (Ahrens) Behling. He was employed at Down the Hill in Little Chute. His passion was hunting and fishing, which he enjoyed. He also liked dart shooting and was a NASCAR fan. He loved his cats: Ziggy, Harley and Roxy. Everyone who knew him loved him, he had no enemies.
    Nicholas is survived by his very special friend, Heather Schulz, Little Chute; parents: Lisa (Kent) Stroess, Little Chute and Todd Behling and his special friend Kay Huemphner, Little Chute; sister, Amber (Andrew) O'Connor, Little Chute and step brother, Jesse Stroess, Minneapolis; grandparents: Tom (Rose) Ahrens, Appleton; and Raymond Behling, Combined Locks; aunts and uncles: Mike (Missie) Ahrens, Menasha; Brian (Missy) Ahrens, Appleton; T.J. (Faren) Ahrens, Cocoa, Florida; Jeff (Gail) Behling, New Holstein; and Doug Behling, Little Chute; cousins. Also survived by Heather's parents, Robert (Lori) Schulz, West Bend and her brother, Brad Schulz; special friends: Nick Vandeburgt and Zeb Beyer and numerous other special friends.
    Nick was preceded in death by his grandmother, Stena Behling.
    Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2009, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Combined Locks. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Monday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.

    Amanda Schwalbach, 31, Green Bay, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012, after a long courageous battle with illness. Born in Galesburg, IL , March 12, 1981 she is the daughter of Tim and Laura (Schwalbach) Behling. Amanda went to Empire Beauty School and also worked at the Bay City Smokehouse. She was very loyal and a great friend. Amanda was a great mother to her daughter, Hailey.
    Amanda is survived by her daughter, Hailey; parents, Tim and Laura Behling of Westboro; sisters, Jamie and Tiffany of Neenah; paternal grandmother, JoAnn Behling of Combined Locks; and many other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.
