Kremer, 79, of 513 Fifth Ave. N, who died Sunday at St. Cloud Hosp ital. Burial be in the parish cemetery with full military honors provid ed by St. Cloud VFW Granite Post 428 and Sauk Rapids American Legion Po st 254.Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cl oud. St. Cloud VFW Granite Post 428 will pray at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at t he funeral home in St. Cloud followed by Sauk Rapids American Legion Po st 254 at 7 and parish prayers at 8:30.Roman Kremer was born in St. Nicholas to Michael and Anna (Kruchten) Kreme r. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II in the Asiatic Theater. He m arried Frances M. Klaverkamp on Nov. 23, 1946, at St. Mary's Help of Chris tians Catholic Church, St. Augusta. He farmed in Minden Township, Benton C ounty, for 44 years until he retired in 1990 and moved to Sauk Rapid s. He was active in local government and was on the Minden Township Boa rd and the Benton County Planning Board for many years. He was a memb er of Sacred Heart parish, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus Counc il 11346, Sauk Rapids American Legion Post 254 and was a life member of S t. Cloud VFW Granite Post 428.Survivors include his wife; daughters, Carol Diedrich of Sauk Rapids, a nd Monica of Brooklyn Park; two grandchildren; and brothers, Ervin of Perh am and Clarence of St. Cloud.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Leo and Wilfred.
