I've been doing more research on Elizabeth Woodbu rn reSidney Ries's mother and found that she too is buried at Parkhill UnionCemetery ID # MX-086 Middlesex County McGillivray Twp Ontario along with h erson (Wilbert J H Woodburn) I have yet to find out the date of deaths on bo thof these as the link I found them at did not give me this info.I am stisearching to find out what happened to Charles. One of these days I woulike to visit Middlesex County and try to find this cemetery some how. Ilive in Madoc Ontario and this would be approx 4-5 hr drive so it is noteasy to get there.It also states in the 1881 census that Elizabethimmigrated to Canada in 1854, her first two children were Sidney Ries b J an10 1862 and Charles E Ries b 1864.So Sidney would have been 5 yrs old we nthis father died.All info I have received thus far has placed Pier re as my GrGrandfather. I was wondering if you might give my email address to the t wocontacts you have on this family...I also would love to get hold of thatbook you were speaking of or even talk with the person who has i t. I am soexcited that a missing piece of my family is finally found that any in fo Ican get is welcomed. Sidney's daughter Elizabeth Alice Ries (my grandmothe r)is gone now and so are both my parents. There are only two living childr enof Elizabeth (my grandmother) left and either of them never knew anythi ng oftheir Grandfather Sidney except that he was their most favorite person, ve rykind and gentle. He died before I was born so I never got to meet him. Iwould also like to get all info you might have ... it's always fun to li nkfamily together and find out how far or close in relation we are in ourtree. If I can help you in any way with your search for relatives andancestors in Canada please let me know, I will try my best to searchdiligently to find them. And if I am able to find any that are clo se to me..perhaps I can check out the cemeteries.
