    Andraschko, Idabel E., Kimberly Age 78, died Saturday morning, September 27, 2003, at Cherry Meadows Hospi ce. She was born March 11, 1925, to the late J. Emil and Minnie (Peters) H elms, in Appleton. She married Lyle (Bud) Andraschko of Oshkosh on Octob er 5, 1946, at Zion Lutheran Church, Appleton. He preceded her in dea th on June 13, 1991. Idabel was employed by the F.W. Woolworth Company , O shkosh, from 1946-1965, where she was personnel supervisor and traveled ar ound the state setting up new stores. She then went to Kitz & Pfeil Hardwa re Store from 1965- 1986 and 1992-1995. She was the hardware buyer and enj oyed going on buying trips to Chicago. Idabel loved going to new stores a nd setting them up and she enjoyed working for the Carl Staple family, own ers of Kitz & Pfeil. They always made her feel like part of their famil y. In 1986 she and her husband retired and moved to Neilsville, where th ey had a lovely home in the woods, with their three horses, four dogs a nd her cat, Rocky. Idabel loved the company they had every weekend. She al ways cooked up a good meal for them. She liked it when Lyle made maple syr up from all of their trees. When her husband died, Idabel, moved back to O shkosh, but got lonesome for her brothers and their families. So in 1995 s he moved to the Little Chute area, in 2000 she moved to Hallmark Pla ce in Kimberly where she made many new friends. Idabel enjoyed many hobbie s, but mostly crocheting afghans for people she loved. She was a good crib bage player and was hard to beat. Idabel was a member of Zion Lutheran Chu rch, Appleton.Survivors include her brother, Rodney Helms, Appleton; a sister-in-law, Li nda Husman, Oshkosh. Idabel had no children, but loved all of her nieces a nd nephews, Carl (Joanie) Helms, Tim (Kathy) Helms, David Helms, Linda (Ge rry) Vandenberg, Patty (Dennis) Vande Burgt, Geri (Patrick) Wang, Gale (Gr eg) Mathes, Cookie (Tony) Passaro; her husband's nephew, Chad (Renee) Husm an and their children, Samantha and Jenna, they were very special as was C had's sister Tara.She was preceded in death by her brothers Vernon and Virgil Helms.Funeral services for Idabel will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 3 0, 2003, at ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 912 North Oneida Street, with Reverend L arry Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park Cemete ry, Oshkosh. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 am, Tuesday, until t he time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.Do not stand by my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not slee p. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am a diamond glint in the sno w. I am the sunlight on ripen grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When y ou awake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet bir ds in circling flight. I am the soft starshine at night. Do not sta nd by my grave and cry; I am not there I did not die.

    Virgil Carl "Woody" Helms Jr., 68, Little Chute, died Friday, July 8, 2011, at Parkside Care Center. He was born April 14, 1943, in Appleton, to the late Virgil and Rosemary "Mutzie" (Dercks) Helms Sr. Carl married Joanie Hooyman at Holy Name Parish in Kimberly on July 22, 1963. He retired as a foreman at the New Page Mill in 2005. Family was very important to Carl. Whether it was lovingly caring for his wife, babysitting his grandchildren, or attending their various sporting events, he was happy to be there. He also enjoyed time spent at his vacation homes in Little Silver Lake and Teakwood Village in Largo, Fla. Carl liked to fish and play cribbage. He loved time spent with his faithful companion, Buster.
    Carl is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Joanie; children, Brad (Sue) Helms; Amy (Jody) Freund; Missy (Keith) VandeLeygraaf, Kaukauna; and Niki (Mike) Wnek, Fremont; grandchildren, Brittany and Breanna Freund, Chelsea, Morgan and Tanner Helms, and Kent and Ethan VandeLeygraaf; siblings, Linda (Jerry) Vandenberg, Tim (Kathy) Helms; mother-in-law, Lorraine Hooyman; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Elaine (Allen) Lamers, Dennis (Jane) Hooyman, Gary (Betty Jo) Hooyman, Karl (Barb) Hooyman, Mary (Carl) Ness, Rose (Chris) Conner, Jeff (Barb) Hooyman and Cheryl (John) Golden. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Leo Hooyman.
    Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 2 p.m. until time of Mass at 5 p.m. The Rev. James Hablewitz will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery. For on-line condolences, please visit www.oconnellfh.com.
