Obituary:
Elaine M. Blair, 86, Menasha, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, December 19, 2013. She was born November 5, 1927, in Neenah, daughter of James and Frances (Hooyman) Krieg. Elaine married Louis Blair, September 7, 1946. She was employed at Park N Market in Neenah for many years. She enjoyed playing sheepshead and bingo. Elaine was a charter member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah.
Elaine is survived by her husband Louis; a son, Jack (Patricia) Blair; a daughter, Patty (Paul) Ganzen; grandchildren: Scott (Mary) Blair, Heather Keesler (Brett) Fenske; great grandchildren: Andrew and McKenzie Blair; brothers: William (Donna) Krieg and Robert (Irene) Krieg; sisters: Judy Keesler and Jean (Leland) Haskins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joan (Fred) Kohl; an infant brother, James Krieg, and brothers-in-law: William Sawall and Earl Keesler; father- and mother-in-law, Adolf and Myrtle Blair.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Affinity Hospice.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Affinity Hospice, especially all the nurses, for all they did during Elaine's illness.
