    Obituary:
    Kaukauna - Martha Dercks, Kaukauna, age 94. Her prayer was answered as she asked to go home. She died peacefully Monday, May 28th, 2018 at Helen's House. She was born on February 22, 1924 in Kaukauna, WI, the Daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (Dewild) Micke. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She will be remembered by those who know her for her kind heart and her many talents. She appreciated a good conversation and loved to listen and learn about everyone around her - she enjoyed hearing the journeys of others. Her life was content and happy. She made an impact on so many lives, she can now rest and be remembered by her smiles and her "I Love You's". To know her was to love her.
    She is survived by her children:Dennis (Patricia) Dercks and their 4 children, Scott, Sara (Scott) Musich, Kimberly, and Kristin (John) Smits; William (Patricia) Dercks, and their 3 children , Jason (Susie), Tessa, Hannah (Joe) Van Thomme; Barb (Duane) Diedrich and their 3 children, Jennifer (Sal) Vasquez, Amy (Shawn) Promer, Ryan (Angela); George Dercks and his 3 children, Andrew, Emily (Zach) Gohr, Leah ( special friend Chris); Joseph (Gail) and their 3 children, Rick, Megan (Rick) Schmoll, Carrie (Joe) Van Daalwyk; Sue (Pete) Hennes and their 2 children, Hailey (Sean) Glaser, and Nathan; Dan Dercks and his 2 stepchildren, Holly (Jack) Calandros and Tommy Hofacker Jr.; 24 great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother and sister-in -law: Kenneth (Carol) Micke, Del Micke and Joyce Micke; 3 sisters: Evelyn Peer, Rosie Johnson and Joanne Verkuilen; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1989, 2 sons: Richard and James, 3 brothers: Pete, Harold and Clarence, 2 sisters: Stephana Ziesmer and Lorraine Stebane.
    Funeral Services for Martha will be at 4:00 pm on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna, with Father Jack Mullarkey officiating. Friends may call directly at church from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family.

    Richard B. Dercks 1164 Harrison, Kaukauna Age 18, passed away about 3 a.m. following an automobile accident. Richard was born April 4, 1949 in Appleton, and was a senior at Kaukauna High School. Survivors are his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Dercks, six brothers, William, in the service in Vietnam, Dennis, James, George Jr., Joseph, Daniel, all at home; two sisters, Barbara and Susan, at home; maternal grandfather, Peter Micke, Kaukauna. Funeral services have tenatively been set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Monday. Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Monday.
