This was the second marriage of a Schreiter and a Conrad in that Moni ca Conrad (a sister of Walter's father) had married Wenzel Schreiter ma ny years earlier.I recently wrote to Pat Konkle, who is writing a bo ok on Freedom Wisconsin and volunteered to do some research on the Conrad 's and share it with her. In the process I came upon your site and the r eference to Mary Catherine and Joseph. They are the parents of Walter Conr ad. Do you have any information on the Schreiter's or Conrad's? Also, my m usic teacher is related to the Schimmels family of Milwaukee. In researc hing them recently I obtained the naturalization information on Alphon so N.
