- Beatrice Yingling, of Boulder Lake, WI, died Monday, December 8, 2008, at the home of her daughter in Green Bay. She was 92 years old. Born October 3, 1916, in Freedom, to Theodore and Lucy (McDaniel) Smits, she married Orville Yingling on September 30, 1961, in Kaukauna. He preceded her in death on May 5,2008.
She attended St. Catherine Convent in Racine. She lived in Freedom and Kaukauna and worked for Wisconsin Telephone Company as an assignment clerk for 17 years prior to her marriage in 1961 when she moved to Appleton. Mrs. Yingling moved to Langlade in 1975. In 2008, she moved to Green Bay and lived at Woodside Oaks Apartments where she made many good friends. She was a member of St. James and Stanislaus Catholic Congregation in White Lake and Langlade and a member of the St. Zita Altar Society. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and baking cookies.
Survivors include two daughters: Kathy (Charles) Frisk, Green Bay; Carol (Sam) Hendry, Riverview, FL; four grandchildren: Stacey Frisk, Erin Frisk, Andrea (Dave) Young, Marty Larkee; four great-grandchildren: Rhianna and Doug Young, Skylar and Madison Larkee; two sisters: Loretta Schmalz, Kaukauna, Dorothy Rebitz, Atlanta,, GA; three brothers: Kenneth Smits, Menasha, Floyd Smits, Kaukauna, Norval (Betty) Smits, De Pere.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: Theodore and Gerald; one sister Angeline Brugman.
Services will be held on December 13, 2008, at 11 a.m. at St.Stanislaus Catholic Church in Langlade with Rev. David Kiefer officiating.
