- See Image Kenneth McMahon, Madison age 66 former ly at 5306 Burnett drive, died on Saturday July 28th, 1990, in a Verona nu rsing home, following a long illness. He was born on April 20th, 192 4, in Chicago Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois, a nd then taught mentally handicapped children in Danville Illinois Willamet te Illinois and Appleton Wisconsin. Later Mr. McMahon was employed with t he Department of Public instruction, division for handicapped children, f or 19 years, until his retirement in 1987. He was on the board of directo rs for the Dane County Senior Olympics, a member of the Madison Elks, a Wo rld War II veteran with the U.S. Air Force, and a member of the St. Thom as Aquinas parish. He was active with the Special Olympics. Survivors inc lude his wife, Connie, a son James of Phoenix Arizona, a sister Mrs. Haro ld (Irene) Blake, of Park Ridge Illinois, and two brothers James McMah on of Niles Illinois and Donald McMahon of Park Ridge Illinois. There wi ll be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be at St. Thomas Aquinas Cathol ic Church on Wednesday August 1st with Rev. James Doyle officiating. 1990 Wisconsin State Journal;
