- Martin M. Leis Sr. SPARTA, Wis. -- Martin M. Le is Sr., 80, of Sparta, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1999, in Rolling Hills Reha bilitation Center, Sparta. He is survived by his wife, Gracia of Spart a; two sons, Martin (Janie) Leis Jr. of Sparta and Lenord (Janice) Le is of Cashton; three daughters, Mary (LaVern) Brooks of Sparta, Betty (De nnis) Jerome of Sparta and Edith (John) Bainter of Sparta; 17 grandchildr en; 13 great-grand children; three brothers, Albert (Esther) Leis of Kend all, George (Delores) Leis of Cashton and Peter Leis of Cashton; and a si ster, Theresa Schaub of Middle Ridge.Funeral services will be Fri day at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Chu rch, Sparta, with Father Jim Leary officiating. Burial will be in the Cataract Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lan ham-Kann Funeral Home, Spart a, on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., and at the funeral home on Fri day fr om 8 to 9:45 a.m. There will be a prayer service at t he funeral home at 8 p.m. Thursday.
